Ann's POV;

I woke up with a big smile plastered on my face. I jumped right out of bed and went into the bathroom, I hair was everywhere so I threw it up in bun, brushing my teeth afterwards. I then went back into my room and checked my messages; none
Instagram; nothing
Twitter; nothing
I locked my phone and went downstairs. "Good afternoon sleepy head" my mom greeted me.
"Afternoon. I would've been up earlier but I didn't get to bed until 3 something" I said taking a bottle of water out of the refrigerator.
"Why did you go to bed so late?"
"I couldn't sleep. I ended up talking to Hayes all night until I got tried and finally fell asleep" I sat in the chair
"Oh. Seems like you and Hayes get along very nicely" she raised her eyebrows, smirking.
"Yeah. He's really cool and funny. Why that face?"
"I don't know. I have this feeling something will happen. But I'm going to a job interview at 4:00 today, I'm going to start getting ready. If you leave before I'm gone, I'm putting the key on the under the welcome mat outside so you're not locked out" I nodded as she walked away to her room.
I watched TV for a while, I was getting bored of watching Sponge Bob though, they were playing all the episodes I've seen 20,000 times before. I turned the TV off and went to my phone instead. I noticed I was gaining followers, a lot of them and some comments that I couldn't read because I was getting so many. I tried to scroll to see who followed me. I just got off annoyed because I couldn't see who was commenting or who was following.
H: hola
A: hey Hayes..
H: why the ".." Not "!!"??
A: I'm just bored and annoyed
H: why? What happened?
A: nothing, I just can't see my Instagram stuff because there's so many comments and follows atm
H: oh sorry. That's probably my fault, I followed you just a few mins ago
A: its cool. Do your fans do this a lot?
H: yeah. But I love and can't thank them enough
A: that's good.
I waited for his response, my Instagram died down a little so I could actually see what people were saying. Most of them said 'omg HAYES FOLLOWED YOU AHHAAK!!' and others were " ARE YOU DATING HAYES???1!1!1!' I laughed at the one of us dating, he wouldn't go for someone like me. I commented back at them, and told them we're just friends and I barely know him.
A: Grier, your fans are asking if we're dating haha
H: they do that all the time. Just ignore it for now. An do you wanna come over?
A: I'll try and yeah. I just need to get ready.
I went upstairs to my room, looking for a hoodie because it was rainy outside. I found one along with a pair of black and white track shorts. I threw them on, slipping on my white vans because they're the ones closest to me. "Mom I'm going over to Hayes'!" Shouted as I walked back down the stairs.
"Okay. Be careful, love you." She said
"Love you too" I said back. I grabbed my light pink pennyboard off the porch and rode it down my long driveway and to Hayes'. I knocked on the door. "Hey" I was greet by Nash.
"Hi" I said stepping inside.
"Hayes is upstairs in his room. Second door to your right" he motioned to the stairs.
"Thanks" I ran up them and knocked on his door.
"Who is it?" His voice was a little deep.
"It's Ann"
"Come in" he said. I opened the door and he sat up in his bed, "you can sit there" he pointed to the spot at the end of his feet.
"Your feet better not smell bad" I sat down.
"They shouldn't. I took a shower a hour ago, and haven't moved from this spot since I got dressed"
"Dang lazy" I laughed
"Says the one who woke up at 1 in the afternoon"
"Dude I went to bed at 3, and you expect me up before 12:00? Not gonna happen bub"
"True, don't worry I woke up at 1:20 so not that bad" he shrugged. I hit him lightly on the shoulder, "and I'm the lazy one"
"20 minutes isn't the big of a difference."
"Anyways my mom found me a dance class I can go to" I said trying to keep the conversation going.
"That's really good, I have football coming up soon. We start practicing in August for the fall, that should be fun" I nodded, "are you doing any sports for school or did?"
"I did track in 7th grade. I don't think I would do it again I was so tired everyday and my legs hurt so bad" I explained, on the other hand it was fun because I met different people.
"Oh, I see. The rain cleared up a little. Have you been to the lake yet?" He asked
"Nope"
"Wanna go, before it rains again?" He uncovered his body
"I guess" he put a pair of black vans then we left.
