Hayes' POV;
I kept seeing things about me and Ann on Twitter or Instagram coming from my fans. They keep asking if we're dating or how we know each other, I have to tell them that we're just friends and nothing more, we just met when she moved here from Kentucky. I got on twitter I started typing:
'I see that you guys keep asking about @annmoore. We're just friends, nothing more nothing less. I met her over the weekend when she moved across the street from me. She's super cool and chill, please stop worrying. Don't be rude or start rumors about her or us!'
I sent the tweet. I didn't bother reading the comments on any of them, so I put my phone down and played a game.
"thank you!" I got a text from Ann
"you're welcome" I replied knowing what she was talking about. I continued to play my game, I wasn't going to do anything today because Nash is going to California with Cam, Ann is going to look at some dance studio, and Sky is sick. The game was getting boring, so I turned it off and went to get something to eat. The whole house was quite, except for Keeda's nails hitting the floor and Sky's small cough. I opened the fridge to get out the turkey and mustard, I sat them on the counter, getting out the bread. I made the sandwich, I could hear myself chewing and I didn't like it.
"Hayes!" I heard Sky yell from her room.
"I'm coming" I put the sandwich down and ran to her room, "I'm here" I sat at the end of her bed
"Where's mommy?" She asked
"She's getting you medicine, but when she comes back she has to go to work." I told her, "do you feel any better?"
She shook her head a little, you could tell she was sick. Her face was now pale except for her cheeks, she wasn't smiling like she usually does all the time. She was curled up, with her arms wrapped around a brown stuffed horse that she got not too long ago. I heard the door open and knew my mom was home.
"Hayes is Sky up?" She asked as her voice got louder.
"Yeah, I'm in with her in her room" I said and she stepped in the doorway.
"My poor baby. I bought you medicine, there wasn't cherry so I oddly found strawberry. Is that good?" My mom held the bottle up.
"Yeah" she said quietly, and sat up. My mom opened the bottle of dark pink liquid, and poured it into the cap, Sky quickly swallowed it, handing her the lid back.
"I gotta leave now. But Hayes will be here if you need anything. If you get bored Hayes, you can have one friend over! I don't want the house being loud when she's sick like this. Well I'm leaving now goodbye" she kissed the top of our heads, "be good" and she left.
"You should have Ann over" Sky spoke up.
"I would but she's at some dance place with her mom" I said
"I really like her. She's really funny, and pretty"
"I like her too" I smiled really wide
"Do you think she's pretty?"
"Yes, I think she's very pretty, and amazing, wonderful, and perfect" I continued, I didn't mean to say all those things in front of Sky, but I couldn't help it!
"Do you like her like Nash likes fruity pebbles?" She furrowed her eyebrows.
"Yes, but maybe more than Nash likes fruity pebbles" I laughed, "but you can't tell her. Pinky promise?" I held out my pinky
"Pinky promise" she locked her small finger with mine, I gave her a kiss on her forehead and left the room, "you should get some sleep" I said cracking her door so I could hear her if she needs me. I walked downstairs, I noticed my phone was ringing, it was Ann.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Finally you answered! Are you home?" She said.
"Yeah? Why?"
"Cause I'm home now, and I'm bored. So we should hang" she shuggested.
"Okay, yeah come over. But be quite, Sky is sick and is sleeping" I told her.
"Awh I hope she gets better. Is it only you two there?" I could hear her close a door in the background.
"Yeah, are you coming now?" I asked, throwing away the sandwich.
"Mmh, I'm at the end of my driveway. Oh did I leave my penny board there last night? I can't find it"
"I think so, if you did it's still on the porch" I told her.
"Okay I see it, I'm coming in now so imma hang up now"
"Okay" I said and I heard the door open. "I'm in the living room" I said.
"Hey" she said sitting next to me
"Hey" I looked over at her.
"I know I said thank you already about the tweet, but I really appreciate it! I don't want my mom, or my friends from back in Kentucky to get any ideas or think we are." "I get it, and you're welcome. Hey I haven't done YouNow in a long time. You wanna do one with me? We'll have to go to my room though" I told her
"Yeah! I haven't watched YouNow in forever!" She said as went walked towards the stairs. I got out my laptop from my desk and had to plug it because it was dying. I tweeted about going on YouNow so I had people watching, I didn't say anything about Ann though, I don't know if that was a good thing or not, but we'll find out later.
"Hey guys. I know I haven't been on here in a long time, sorry 'bout that. But I'm going to be answering your guys' questions and getting you guys caught up on what has been happening lately. Oh and I have someone I want you guys to meet, they're just TAKING A LONG TIME IN THE BATHROOM!" I shouted the last part so she can hear me.
"Dude why are you shouting at me? You said to be quite because Sky is sleeping" she said with a little attitude.
"Come over here, I started the YouNow" I put my hand next to me where she could sit, she sat right next to me. "Guys this is Ann!"
"Hi" she waved giving a smile. "I'll answer questions then I'll catch you guys up on what's happening in my life" I started, "okay first question; 'what is your favorite animal?' A tiger." I heard Ann chuckle. "What's wrong with that?" I asked
"I'm not laughing at you, chill. I'm laughing at this" she showed me a picture on her phone, from Instagram, "but your favorite animal is different, you rarely have people with that as their favorite animal"
"Well what's yours? Guys watch it be something basic, like a dog or cat"
"Its a bear, yeah guys that's so basic" she said with sarcasm, looking into the camera.
"Next question. Oh this is a good one; 'when do you start touring again?' Umm soon, I'm going to digi with some really cool people, but the guys aren't going. I'll be still really fun. Another one; 'CAN YOU START VINING AGAIN??!!1!1!1' well I've been trying, but its not easy. I'll try for y'all though" I ran my hands through my hair looking for better questions to answer, "okay here's one, we both have to answer this one" I nudged Ann's side, "okay ask away" she said.
"What's your favorite feature about each other?"
"Ohh I have this one!" She said excitedly, "my favorite part of Hayes is his smile. I mean just look at it!" She said, and I smiled looking at the screen. "Okay my favorite feature of Ann is her eyes. They're like green and then they go to a blue, and it looks like tye-dye, it's really cool" I said, then Sky started calling for me, "I'll get her" Ann said getting up to go to Sky.
"Sorry Sky it really sick right now. We'll answer a few more questions and I'll catch you guys up on what's going on" Ann finally came back after a while, "ready to answer more questions?" I asked her, she nodded her head.
"Who's your favorite artist, music wise? Well I have a lot, it I really like Jack and Jack's music, along with Shawn's"
"I freaking love G-easy! His music is so good! My favorite song is probably 'I mean it' or 'Let's get lost'!" She laughed after she realized that she got really excited and jumpy about it.
"Now the last one. I'll chose a random one" I scrolled really fast, then put my finger on it and stopped it, "the question is-" I stopped myself before I read it and started smiling at the thought. "Will you and Ann just date already? You guys would be perfect; Ann is soooooo pretty and Hayes you're so HAWT! Just date already!" I said the question, laughing and I could feel myself getting red, I looked over at Ann who was doing the same.
"First thanks" she smiled, "and second we don't like each other that way! We're just friends, and it'll be like that for a long time" Ann anwsered. I started telling them all the personal stuff that's been going in with me, like touring, sports, what places I'll be visting and Ann told them stuff about her too. It was about 7:30 when Ann went home.
A: I had a lot of fun tonight! Your fans are so cool and sweet! I thought they would hate me in all honesty
H: I'm glad they like you, well mostly what I've saw! Its been a long day, I'm going to bed now night.
A: nighty night!!
