Ann's POV;
I arrived at the track with Hayes, the smell of burnt rubber and dirt filled the air. "Just stay here" Hayes said as he got out of the truck. I watched him walk over to his friends and talk to them, then I saw him point towards the truck, then they nodded.
"Don't worry Ann; he isn't tellin'em anything bad about you" Johnnie said, walking by the window to get Hayes' bike off the back.
"Good" I laughed a little.
"Come on now" Hayes opened the door. I stepped out onto the dirt gravel. "Guys this is Ann; Ann this is Stephen" he pointed to the taller blonde, "and that is Luke" he pointed to the dark haired one.
"Hi" I waved, and they did it back.I watched Hayes from the bleachers, he was pretty good for only knowing how to ride for a few months.
"You seemed lonely" I heard someone say as they sat next to me. "I'm Hannah" she said.
"Ann, I'm guessing your Stephen's girlfriend?" I said in more of a question.
"Yeah, and your Hayes' friend?" I nodded. We didn't talk much, just small talk about what we saw as the guys ran the track."They should be done now, let's go" she said. We both stood up, walking off the bleachers towards everyone else, we found the guys. "Good job guys" she high-fived them all.
"Thanks" they all said.
"I see you two already met" Hayes said when he saw Hannah and I standing next to each other.
"Yeah" I nodded. We all stood around talking to everyone, until we had to leave.
Today was a good day; I got everything that was on my chest off, and I had something to distract me from everything that's been going on.
