Maybe about ten minutes after I called Alexander, the doorbell rang, making me scoot up to where I was, as the whole family were asking tons and tons of questions about the man who was yet to enter the house.

"Hey, love." I gave him a soft kiss, to which he responded quite quickly. As the kiss finished, I examined his look. He was wearing a black button down shirt with about four buttons unbuttoned, some black, denim pants, and some black and white Balenciaga shoes.

We were quite matching, actually. I wore a black and gold halter top, with black jeans. As if I was going out, also wore ankle boots.

"Ready?" I asked him softly, which made him smile. He acted as he was in his thoughts for a moment, then he finally answered.

"Just a tad bit," He answered with a deep chuckle. He then slicked back his hair, combing it using his fingers.

"Well, ready or not you are going to meet them." I slight laughed, making him follow.

"What the fuck is taking so long?" I heard Alistair shout from the lounge area in the backyard, to where they were waiting.

I laughed as an answer, then led Alexander to the said lounge area. As we were going to enter, Alexander held me back, holding in between my arm and elbow to stop me.

"What if they're not going to like me?" He asked, scratching the back of his neck which he tends to do when nervous.

"Hey," I cupped his dace and gave his cheeks a slight massage. "Listen to me love, they are going to love you." I smiled at him genuinely. "Now stop being worrisome and let's go." I chuckled.

He laughed as he wrapped an arm around my waist. We then went to the backyard, where half my family was waiting as the other was in Spain.

"They're here!" Elina exclaimed as they noticed our presence.

"So, you must be Alexander?" Alistair tried to put his most intimidating and deep voice, which just made all of us burst out of laughter.

"You call that intimidating?" Oliver cackled, clutching his stomach as he was already laughing his ass off in the ground.

"What?" Alistair queried. "At least, I tried my best." He boasted.

"Alexander." Dad called him, which was pretty intimidating even if he didn't even try. "If you don't mind, please come with us inside as we have some questions to ask you."

"Uh, sure." He asked hesitantly before following dad, Geo, Alistair, Killian, Olen, Oliver, and even my little nephew, Charles. Some of my other uncles went too.

"What do you think they're going to do?" I whispered to Elina once they were already inside.

"No need to be worried, Liv." She chuckled lightly. "They're just going to ask some estúpido questions about him. Like if he drinks tequila or if he does anything for a living, or what are his dreams." She explained.

"It's pretty much the same questions they asked Ali, honestly." She referred to Alistair. "Don't worry it's just like tradition, or something." She chuckled.

"Auntie Selene!" Kelly suddenly appeared out of nowhere, making me jump out of shock.

"Yes, pumpkin?" I asked after recovering from the slight scare that I received.

"Is your boyfriend just like daddy?" She asked innocently. "Do you love him like mommy does with daddy?"

"Well, I don't know yet, Kelly." I smiled as she sat beside me and Elina. "But I do think I love him like your mommy does." I ruffled her hair, making her giggle.
