A few days later, it was already Ayana's birthday, which means I have to see Alexander again. Since sketching a dress that I was going to wear backfired, I just took one from my closet. It was a blue strapped dress that went down to my knees. I paired it with white heels. I also went by a simple makeup look.

I also decided to buy Ayana a present. It was a necklace. It was a gold necklace with a crown pendant. The pendant was made with diamonds. I knew that their family was rich as fuck and I know they own jewelry stores, but I didn't really know what the girl liked since I had only seen her a few times and it has been years.

Then, a knock was placed on the door.

"Come in!" I croaked out as I fixed my hair. I was just straightening it and pushing it back.

Olen entered the room with a confused look etched in his face whilst going to my bed to sit. I gave him a small smile before continuing to style my hair.

"Where are you going? You know, all dressed up like that?" he asked. He then took a random object from my bedside table, which happened to be a hairbrush, so he used it in his gel covered hair, making me gag.

"A party," I answered as I continued to fix my hair. "Uhm, Alexander's." I combed it as I put hairspray.

"Hah?!" His voice rose. "What do you mean Alexander's party? Oh my God! Are you dating him? Is that why you refused the issue about you and Nico?! You've been seeing him, haven't you?!" He looked at me and narrowed his eyes.

"What the hell?! No way would I do that, Olen! I'm only doing this because a relative of his happened to have bought a dress and he insisted on taking me to the party for like a thank you, or something." This time, I accidentally pulled my hair, making me wince. "Ow."

"Hm." He licked his tongue as he massaged his super ugly growing stubble. "I'm coming with you."

"What?! No!" My eyes bulged out as I looked at him. "No, Olen."

"Why not?" He was being stubborn, so I pushed him, making him fall unto the bed. "Hey!" He threw a pillow at me, but luckily it didn't even reach to where I was.

"Anyways," I stood up and put on my heels. I then took my sling bag and Ayana's present as I got a message from Alexander that he was already up front. "I have to go," With that, I walked away and went downstairs. "I'll be out for a bit!" I yelled before going out to see that Alexander was already waiting.

"Hello." I tried my best to smile, but it came out fake as I had a bad mood because earlier, Gigi had woken me up at four in the morning asking if unicorns were real.

"Hi." He greeted as he gave me a genuine smile, unlike mine. "Ready?" He asked as he went in front of the car passenger door.

"Mhm," I nodded as he opened the door for me. "Thank you."

We then drove off to wherever the venue was. Shit! I just realized that I will be seeing the whole Velasquez-King clan. God, kill me now. How am I going to face them after not seeing them for years?! Why did I agree to be Alexander's freaking date! Oh God, I'm freaking out! Olivia, breathe. Breathe.

"So," I cleared my throat as I just realized that we had been quiet. "How did Ayana take the surprise?" I asked Alexander who was not too focused on driving as he was giving me a few glances. "Did she take it well?"

"Yeah, actually. She was happy, ecstatic even. She uhm, really liked the dress, asked where I got it from. Of course, I told her the truth that I was from you," He said, not looking away from the road.
