As soon as we arrived back home, we were all slumped. The next day, we went to the house that Alexander bought. I was shocked to say the least. He also showed me the ownership of the house, we were both there.
About a couple of weeks later, the engagement party was already set. It was going to be in three days. Currently, Alexander and I were having a date, talking about our future - and as cliché as it sounded.
"Cheers, to a new chapter of our life." He raised his wine glass.
"Cheers," I gave him a small nod.
"I want a kid," He casually said, making me choke on my wine. He chuckled after that, giving me a small goofy grin.
"We'll see about that," I sent him a wink. "Anyways, I want to have a church wedding. It's been my dream ever since I was a little girl." I explained.
"I'm okay with it. I want it too," He replied. "Can I ask you a question?" He suddenly looked at me.
"You already did, but shoot."
"How come you didn't get your tattoo removed?"
"I don't know," I told him honestly. "I tried to. But when I was there, sitting to get it removed, I just couldn't. How about you?"
"Same reason," He shrugged.
The next three days, Alexander and I spent it together. He assisted me as were finalizing the details of the party.
"Hey guys," I greeted my friends. We were already at the venue, just waiting for a few more guests. "Glad you could guys come."
"Of course," Gigi smiled. "We wouldn't miss it for the world."
"Love," I heard Alexander call from beside me. "It's time."
I gave him a nod, before turning to my friends for a smile. I then gave them a nod before taking Alexander hand - which he stuck out beforehand - and heading to the small stage/stadium.
"Good evening everybody," Alexander greeted them with a smile. "We are so glad you could come."
"Well, you might be wondering, 'Why did Olivia call us in such a short notice'? or 'Why did Alexander suddenly threw a party?' Well," I looked at Alexander with a nod as we both looked at the audience.
"We're engaged!" Cheers then erupted from them, as we come down from the stage, them greeting us with hugs, pats on the back, or kisses on the cheek.
"I knew," Oliver boasted to our cousins with a proud look, as if he won the lottery.
"Hey," It was Elina who approached me. "Congratulations."
"Thank you," I smiled, as we both went it for a hug.
"Are we expecting a little Olivia or little Alexander - or maybe both soon?" She gave me a knowing look.
"Elina!" I exclaimed, lightly hitting her shoulder blades.
"What? I had Kelly before the wedding, so I don't really think it's a big deal," She shrugged as if it was a simple sentence.
"Auntie?" I turned around to see Kelly and Ayana. They were holding identical dolls and even wearing the same hairstyle.
"Hi babies," I bent down to their level before kissing their cheeks.
"Are you going to be like mommy and daddy?" It was Kelly who asked.
"Will you have those thingys where we throw flowers?" It was Ayana who said this.
