"Love?" I hummed, reaching out to wrap my hands around him, but he wasn't there. I squinted my eyes to get used to my surroundings. Once I was able to do so, I freshened up a bit and went downstairs.
"Love?" I called him once again. "Where are you?"
I roamed around his condo a bit to find George. Although, there was no sign of Alexander.
"George?" I called out to him.
"Ms. Olivia. Good morning. What are you doing here?" He was super confused.
"Have you seen Alexander? He's not around." I scratched my head.
"Uhm," He thought for a second. "Oh. He left at around 3 am this morning. I asked him where he was going, but he did not answer since he looked like he was at a rush. He had luggages with him."
"Luggages?" I stuttered. "Do.. you.. really.. not know where he was going?"
"I'm sorry Ms. Olivia, but I don't know." He shook his head. "If you would now excuse me, shall I prepare you breakfast?"
"No, thank you, George. I should probably go home anyways." I smiled.
I gasped quietly in disbelief. How could he? After all the promises that he made last night?
I decided to call him first, just to make sure. I called him by his number, in Instagram, and even messaged him.
To: Love ♡
Love? Where are you? Please reply.
I also messaged him in Instagram.
miseleneous: Love? Where are you?!
Lastly, I decided to message him in Twitter.
selened: Love? Please answer both my calls and messages. I just need to talk to you.
I called him a dozen times more before giving up. It's no use, as if he was going to answer. He left me! After all the promises he gave! He left me.. at a time I needed him the most.
I decided to take a bath one last time before leaving. I also decided to wear my favorite hoodie of him that he gave to me a few days ago. While changing, I was something shining in the bedside table. It was Alexander's ring.
I took notice that he was wearing this a few weeks ago. He said it was a family heirloom of the King's. It dit not fit Alessandro, so he got it. Beside it was a piece of paper with my name on it. God, how it gives me memories.
My, love.
I decided to open it.
Mi dispiace di averti lasciato così, amore mio. Per favore ricorda che ti amo moltissimo. Fino al nostro prossimo incontro. Ti amo.
- A.J.K.
What does that even mean? But, for now I can't really focus on it because I was slightly fuming with anger.
I scoffed. That's what he left me? A fucking ring? Not even a goodbye? Does he really love me? Was it all real? The times we spent together? I sat there, contemplating with tons of questions swarming my mind.
Even though, I decided to keep it. I put it in my middle finger even though it was a little loose. Although, it doesn't slip.
I also took my luggages that I used to carry my stuff that was in there to pack it again. And with one last final sigh, I looked at the room that we slept together. I also decided to call Olen since I didn't have anyone or a car to drive me back home.
