"You're such a coward," I whispered, clutching my knees to my chest whilst I looked down. "You could've just told me. I would have forgiven you that time. You're such a coward, Alexander." I repeated, as I felt his hands wrap around me.

We were in the closest guestroom just beside the venue while he explained. I then tried to pry his grip off me but it did not work.

"Calm down, love." His soothing voice made me give in into his touch, as my hands loosened from his arms, eventually resting on the bed that we were sitting on.

"I hate you, Alexander." My voice broke. "I hate you so much. You broke me. After all those years, you decide to come back like nothing happened. I promised myself not to give in to your antics and yet here I am, melting into your arms again. I hate you!" I sobbed, once again pushing myself off his grip.

Once he gave up and removed his grip from me, I stood up and wiped the tears that formed at the short amount of time.

"I was a wreck when you left me. I was so insecure. Thinking that I was not enough for you. I went to different countries just to forget you! I put down all my walls for you just to accept me! Yet you threw that away like trash." I sneered, looking him up and down.

"I know that I should've told you and I didn't-" I cut him off with a hard look as he stopped in response.

"You know that I would've forgave you, Alexander! You would know that I love you so much that I would just go running into your arms! You would know that I would've accepted the fact of you not saying goodbye!" I yelled. "And this," I pulled the chain holding his ring from my neck and threw it at him. "You don't know how many times I wanted to throw that damn ring in the drain."

"I know I'm such a coward but please, give me another chance. Give me another chance to regain your trust." He begged. "Please, Olivia. I'll do anything."

"Anything, you say?" I raised a brow, looking at him with a neutral expression. "Then leave me alone, Alexander. I don't need you to return and strut to my life as if nothing had happened." With that, I left the room and went to the loo which was just beside. I then wiped my tears as I re-touched my make up.

When I looked decent, I headed back to the venue where Adriana approached me immediately.

"Hey, what took you so long?" She asked. "Where's Alex?" Her eyebrows scrunched in confusion.

"Girl problems." I lied. "You know how much trouble they are." I lied. "I have to go, Adi. See you soon?" I smiled.

"Yeah, sure." She smiled back. "I suggest you say goodbye to Ayana though. She would be sad if you suddenly leave."

"I will," I nodded. I then headed to where Ayana was and thankfully, she was in one of the tables and not in the stage. "Hey, sweetie." I said as I approached her.

"Auntie Olivia!" She was still cheerful as ever.

"Auntie Olivia needs to go. Okay, sweetie? I have important things to take care of. But I promise that I'll come and visit okay? You can even visit me in my office if you'd like."

"But my party?" Her lips turned into a pout.

"It'll be alright. I was here, wasn't I?" I gave her a reassuring smile. "Now, Auntie Olivia has to go, okay?" I told her.

"Okay." She smiled. "Promise you'll let me visit?"

"I promise." I nodded.

I then gave the Main King family a smile before leaving the mansion. I contacted Jeremiah and gave him my address so that he would pick me up. Minutes later, I saw the car going towards my direction. From afar, I could feel that Alexander was watching me leave. When the car was in front of me, I turned around and saw him just standing there.
