"I'm so sorry for troubling you, sir." I looked at the familiar man who was standing beside me and holding my shoulder. "Thank you for helping me," I smiled. "I have to go now."
I quickly walked away when he removed his grip from my shoulder. I then immediately went to my car and sighed. How many years has it been? 4? 5? God, I lost count. I first collected myself before driving to my apartment.
Wen I arrived, I immediately threw my stuff around. I sighed, removed my heels, and threw it on the wall. I also removed my glasses and put it on the table.
"Whoa!" I heard my brother's voice shout. "What has gotten you in a bad mood, sis?"
"Why the hell when my life starts going great and everything seems well, that fucking bastard asshole decides to come back?! God! I wanted to strangle him there for all the pain he put me in all those years! I fucking hate him!" I ranted out. "Oh my God! Why can't he just not come back like he did all those years ago! I hate him!"
"Calm down," He looked at me. "What's wrong? Who's back?"
"Alexander fucking Jofiel King!" I yelled. "He's back and I just saw him not too long ago! He had the audacity to look me in the eye as if he didn't know me. At all."
"Calm down." Oliver rolled his eyes. "There's a high chance that you're not going to see him again!"
"Yeah, but there's also a chance that I will! Why does he have to come back! He can stay to wherever he was for all eternity! God! Why did have to come here!" I groaned. "I hate him! So damn much!"
"Sis. Calm down. You moved on, didn't you?" He shook his head. "There's nothing to be afraid of."
"You're right." I smiled. "There's nothing to be afraid of." I removed some hair that was in my face. "I moved on, didn't I? If I see him, I don't know him."
"That's the spirit." He smiled. He took the bag from my hands.
"You owe me. A lot." I glared at him. "And, we're going to a party. Tonight."
"Really?" His eyes glimmered of hope.
"Yes," I sighed "Go get ready, Mr. model." I winked. "You might see someone."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." He mocked my face. "You're the one who saw someone."
"Foul!" I whined. "I hate you!"
I glared at him and went to my room. Childishly, I locked the door. Then, my phone rang and saw that it was my eldest brother, Olen.
"Hello?" I answered.
[Got the news from Levi.] He stated slowly. [Are you okay, Lena?]
"That fast?" I chuckled. "Yeah, I'm fine." I bit my lip. "Why wouldn't I be?"
[Nothing.] It sounded like it was rushed. [Anyways, I have to go. Nico is already calling me. You know how he is.] He laughed.
"I know," I chuckled. "Be careful, okay?"
[You know I always am.] I could basically hear him smiling. [Bye, Lena. See you when I see you.]
"See you," I chuckled.
I then set an alarm about two hours before the party and slept. When I got woken up by the alarm, I took a bath and got ready. I wore a sequin top with a low neckline, and a leather skirt. I also wore black strapped heels.
