"It hurts," I whined as I sat up from my bed and held my extremely throbbing head. I looked around and saw that I was in my room. How did I get here? When did I get here? Did I drive myself home? I freshened up a but before going downstairs. From a glance, I saw that it was already almost noon.
"Ah! The princess is finally awake!" Oliver exclaimed once I got to the kitchen. "Good morning, your highness." He bowed down, laughing. I gave him the finger before going to a stool and sitting on it. I was now facing him.
"God, my head hurts." I mumbled as I held it. "Fetch me some Tylenol or two would you please, Lev?" I requested to Oliver trying be polite. He nodded before fetching me two pieces and a glass of water. "Thanks." I smiled. "Hey uhm, Lev?" I called after I took the tablets.
"Yeah?" He turned around, giving me a plate of cinnamon rolls and a cup of coffee, making me smile. I first looked at him and mumbled a 'thanks' before proceeding to ask him my question.
"How did I get here? When did I get here?" I asked him the two questions that have been bugging me ever since I woke up. I first let out a chuckle, shook his head and sat it front of me.
"You don't remember, do you?" He asked, making me shake my head rapidly. I then took a bite of the cinnamon rolls before he cleared his throat and started talking. "Well, sister, about past midnight, last night - I guess - Nic had called me and asked to pick you up since you were wasted as hell. When I was getting ready to do so, Olen caught me and decided to come with."
"Then, when we arrived, you were already in the verge of sleeping. You looked like a damn mess. Your hair was all over your face, your top sleeves were slipping from your shoulders and your shoes were all over the place." He explained a but before continuing. "Olen then came to you and tried to support you in walking, but your legs gave up so he just carried you. Then, a man, I think his name was Tristan, no, Tanner sudden piped in and asked who we were. Of course, we answered before he passed out."
"Then, we carried you outside and asked what car you took or you rode with your driver, but you took Hayden, apparently. The plan was to drive you home whilst the other one would take your car if you didn't get sent by your driver, but I immediately declined to ride the motorcycle." I was going to pipe in about where my motorcycle was, but he beat me to it. "If you're going to ask for your motorcycle, don't worry. It's parked in the garage along with your helmet. I asked my driver to go pick it up just this morning."
"After that, we went to the car and you just slept. You were half awake and half asleep when we got home. All in all you were a mess, sis." He sniggered, sliding my motorcycle keys in the counter. "By the way, we're all going to have a quote un-quote family meeting later. I think you're in big trouble." He smirked.
"I just remembered," I chuckled nervously whilst taking the last bite of my cinnamon rolls and getting up from my chair. "I have uh, things to do at the office!" I stuttered and while I was standing up, I stubbed my toe, making me hold it. "Ah, fuck!" I massaged it for a bit before walking - no, - limping away.
I heard Oliver chuckle, making me mumble profanities that I don't understand. I then went upstairs, to my room and checked my phone. There were a lot of messages from Nic, Tanner, Gigi, and even Nico. Nico. It's been a while since I last talked to him. I think it was when the issue was just cleared and he was asking me if he was aloud to go out from his house. I then checked the messages one by one.
