"Alex! It's My sister's birthday! You should come! We're heading there after practice!" My attention went to my best friend, Reyco when he called me. It was the usual volleyball practice when surprisingly, he called for a party since he wasn't the one to do that. I was about to protest when he talked before me. "Don't even think of denying. You are going. Either you like it or not."
"Then why did you ask? Dumbass." I muttered. "I can't. I have things to do. Just go by yourself. Spend some time with your sister. Or just ask Angelo to go with you. If I do have time, I won't go with you. You're a fucking lightweight and you have low tolerance. I'm sure there will be drinks later and you suck, bro. No offense though."
"You hurt my ego, King." He held his heart and feigned hurt. He then pretended to pass out, making me shove him lightly. "Ouch!" He exclaimed, holding his stomach as kicked him there. Drama King. God, he reminds me of my annoying brother. "Bro, I hate you."
"Yeah yeah, whatever." I scoffed looking at him with a mocking face. I then continued to do my exercises. The whole duration of practice, he annoyed and bothered me regarding the party. Because I was tired of his ass, I had to agree. He then tackled me to the ground, but I punched him away.
After practice, I went straight home. I changed into some casual clothes and went to the venue to where that party was being held. Reyco then saw me and lead me to where our friends were. It was a couch and a table filled with alcohol.
"Bro!" Arsen came to hug me, but I pushed him away. "He actually came!" He looked at Reyco, Angelo, and Kaiden. "What a shocker?!" He laughed. God, Arsen was already tipsy. Why did I have so many low tolerance friends? The only one who was not was Angelo. But, when he's not and he wants to get drunk, it's a big problem. He would throw a rampage on not being able to get drunk.
"You're already getting close to being drunk, asshole. Sit down. How could I not agree?" I scoffed while going to sit beside Angelo who had a glass of bourbon in his hands. "Stupid Rey was practically hanging off my ass. He was annoying the hell out of me." I sighed, taking a shot of tequila. "Hey, Arsen!" I called.
"Yeah, what is it?" He was already slurring. His eyes were bloodshot and he was acting as if his body was jelly. Just how many shots did he take while I was not looking?
"How many shots did you take?" I asked, now taking a glass of vodka. "You are already drunk, bro." I laughed. He stayed quiet before answering.
"Uhm, three?" He held up five fingers, making me laugh. "I think. I don't know. I had one when I arrived then everything was fuzzy and moving I don't even know where I am!" He was now laughing at himself. "Oh, God!" He exclaimed. "Alex! I don't know where I am!" He was now wailing and crying.
"Shut up!" Reyco hit him in the back of the head. Arsen pouted and massaged the back of his head. He then muttered profanities, making Reyco laugh and tease him. "You're so dramatic."
"So, Rey." I looked at him, leaning at the couch. "Where's Ivy if it's her birthday, huh? Or did you just fool me because you wanted to drink?"
"She's there." He pointed towards the door. "Greeting guests." There, he was right. Ivy was there greeting guests. She was hugging a woman. When they pulled apart, I saw what the woman she hugged looked like.
She was absolutely mesmerizing. She was wearing a high pony tail, a white top, black shoes, and a leather jacket. She looked like a badass. I saw smiling a bit as I watched her talk with Ivy. My smile slightly faltered when I saw that she was with boys. Alexander, don't think much. What if they were siblings? I mean they did look alike.
