"Olivia! You're literally trending right now!" Nic shouted as I got off the car.

"Shut up!" I shouted back.

He just laughed and waited for me to approach him. We did our usual handshake before heading to the 'Roman Tree' where our friend group usually hangs out before class. It's just basically like a treehouse.

As we arrived to RT as we call it, we see that everybody was already there.

"Hey, captain!" Lewis teased.

"Whatever." I scoffed.

"Olivia!" Gigi squealed as if we didn't see each other yesterday.

"I have some tea." I squealed in the same way.

"Geez! Here we go again." Lewis massaged his temples.

"Yeah, you girls always do this. You act as if you didn't see each other for a decade." Nic sighed.

"As if," I scoffed.

"Enough with the fighting," Gigi piped in. "What's the tea?"

"AlexanderaskedmeonadateandIsaidyes." I blurted out rapidly. Of course since fast talk was like our second language, she understood it.

"Really? Mr. Hot Captain!" She jumped up and down. "Iknewityouguyswouldgettogetherinaway!" She also blurted out.

"You need to help me pick an outfit though." I glared as if she did something wrong.

"How do you understand that?" Lewis suddenly questioned.

"Yeah, you both just blabber words." Nic agreed.

"Duh?! It's girl code." We both said at the same time.

"I'll never understand girls." They both muttered.

"What's the theme?" Gigi got back into the details of the date.

"I don't even know, to be honest." I shrugged. "He just asked me."

"Oh. You should dm him then and ask." She suggested.

"You think so?" I asked.

"Theme for what?" Lewis asked again.

"Yeah, what are you guys talking about?" Nic also asked.

"Olivia got asked on a date." Gigi said.

"Really? It's been years since you last got a date. I mean like a boyfriend. What was his name again?" Lewis asked.

"Cameron?" Gigi asked. "No, it was Carlie I think. No, oh I remember! It's Carson."

I looked at Nic with a panicking look since he knows what happened. I didn't really wanted to open up.

"Yeah, it was." I whispered.

"How did you guys break up anyways?" He asked once again. I can't. It's too difficult.

That simple question made my heart pound like crazy. That one simple question affected me tons. I know it's been years but, it was still a sensitive topic. Seconds later, I already started to feel my chest tighten.

"Uhm... May I use the restroom for a second?" I thought of an excuse. "I think I ate something bad for breakfast."

"Yeah, sure." They all said.
