The remaining train ride to U.A. was uneventful. Midoriya shared some of his theories to Arya. She listened attentively, adding her opinion where needed. She agreed that whoever was involved, didn't want her dead. If they wanted her dead, they would have done so. The thought made her weary. She always took her time to make sure everything was accounted for. Nothing was out of place. Being surprised was never an option, and she felt completely out of control.
"Do you think you'll stay at U.A.?" Midoriya asked, curiously.
"I'm not sure. We will have to see what the principal says, this is his domain."
Principal Nezu didn't skip a beat when it came to helping her. Immediately contacting All Might to pick her up at the hospital while he set up a plan for her stay, unknowing how long that would be. She would trust in whatever he offered. In this particular case, she didn't have much a choice. She had no where else to go.
"For now, Young Midoriya, Young Bakugo," All Might started, they both turned towards him. "We should keep all of this to ourselves. Don't let any of your other classmates know about this. She will probably get to meet them all soon enough, but we want her to remain anonymous." They both nodded.
"It'll be awesome if you're able to meet everyone. Like Todoroki, Ururaka, and Kirishima. Maybe you'll even get to see us train too."
Bakugo closed his eyes and sighed heavily, clearly annoyed. "I'm sure the last thing she'd want to do is watch us train, Deku."
That wasn't true. Arya figured she may actually really enjoy it. She wasn't sure there was much for her to input, but watching the next generation of heros, that would be fun. Plus, these first years were had been less fortunate than precious classes. The amount of attacks from villains had been outrageous. Also, one of those names stuck out from the rest. Todoroki. Shoto.
Arya hadn't come face to face with Shoto for about four years. She always stayed nearby though, watching over him and making sure he stayed safe. She attended the U.A. Sports Festival that year. Most of the time she spent trying to find the U.A. spy, which eventually she did catch. That's a story for another time though. But she was happy to see Shoto compete, and she actually remembered seeing them all there. Even if no one else noticed her. That was part of her specialty, hiding in plain sight. Shoto had always been like a brother to her, and she kept that promise to watch over him.
Shortly after, the train came to stop around the block from U.A. The group exited the train, headed toward the school. It was just as magnificent as she remembered. There wasn't much different about it since she attended years ago. The barrier wall was a little taller now, they added a couple feet to its height. They added the dorms in the rear of the school, but the overall structure of the main building remained the same.
They all managed to get through the front gate with no problem. The school had added extra security due to the recent attacks. Arya kept her school ID in her wallet, which granted her access whenever she so pleased. Nezu made it known that she was always welcome.
Once inside, they all said their goodbyes, for now. Bakugo and Midoriya head through to the remainder of their classes for the day. All Might and Arya made their way through the halls, finding the elevator at the right back corner of the first floor. They would ride the elevator all the way up at the top floor where they would find the Principal's office.
"So, when were you going to tell me Midoriya was your successor?" Arya questioned. All Might turned to her abruptly.
"What?!" He gasped. "You figured all that out just from a handshake?"
"Not exactly," she laughed. "His energy, it felt familiar. I realized it was similar to yours. Your reaction solidified it for me though."
All Might chuckled at that. "Oh, Arya, you always knew the right questions to ask."
