⚠️TW: Anxiety/Panic Attacks⚠️

"Curiosity was a bad character trait for a private investigator to have. It created work."

"Only a few people care. The rest are just curious."

Arya felt a weird tinge of nostalgia when walking back into that classroom. After not being in it for years, it seemed familiar but far away, like it wasn't hers anymore. The desks were the same, though she noticed there were more in it than there was before, and all new faces addressed her as she followed Mr. Aizawa in. Some she knew, and most she recognized from the sports festival. She thought it may take a bit of time to get used to again, considering it technically was her classroom again.

Aizawa introduced her to the class, and they all welcomed her. She caught the beam of Midoriya, and the stoic expression of Bakugo sitting in front of him. Tokoyami sat toward the back, and behind him was Shouto himself, who seemed to eye her curiously. Whatever nervousness had her shackled before was quickly masked by excitement as all the students went around to introduce themselves. Aizawa allowed them to ask her questions, while he opted to take a quick nap under his desk.

A girl with long black hair, toward the back of the class, raised her hand and asked the first question. "Hi! I'm Momo Yaoyorozu. So, you were one of Mr. Aizawa's first students?"

"Yes, I was. I-"

A boy with electric yellow hair, interrupted. "And he didn't expell you?" She remembered he said his name was Denki Kaminari.

Arya laughed, she remembered that Aizawa was known for being pretty harsh on the first years. But truthfully, a lot of people wanted to be heros, but not all were equipped with the right attitude. "Honestly, I didn't give him the chance to. Even though I got in with special recommendations, I never felt that my quirk was an offensive type. We found there was a student in the support courses at the time that may be better suited for the hero course than I was. So, with the principal and Mr. Aizawa's blessing, I gave my seat to him, and I transferred to support."

"That's quite noble of you." The boy with half red/half white hair finally spoke up from the back. She met his gaze for a second, still curious.

"Thank you." She replied.

Aftar that, a spiky haired red head raised his hand. "That is awesome! I don't know if you'd remember, but I'm Eijiro Kirishima. What is your quirk anyway?"

Arya had been waiting for that question. She mostly felt bad because she had told Midoriya and Bakugo that she couldn't share that information with them. It would have been different if she knew what Nezu was going to have her do from the beginning. But after Tokoyami saw it in action, she realized that maybe she didn't need to hide it completely. Since she would be a teaching assistant, it didn't seem right to not give them something.

"In simplest terms, we'll call it Life Force Manipulation." She immediately noticed Bakugo's position change, he had crossed his arms across his chest, and she felt his glare burning a hole into the side of her face.

Jeezus this kid.......

Kirishima made like a fist pump at his side. "Man, why does that sound so awesome?"

Ururaka spoke up next. "What can you do? And why wouldn't you consider it an offensive quirk?"

"Unfortunately, my quirk is one that comes with many downsides. It can be dangerous for me to use, as well as others involved. So, I choose not to use it, except when really needed to. But, I do work with Pro Heros on a regular basis, I'm excited to assist in your training, and watch you all grow. I hope you'll accept me, even if my quirk is something you may never see."
