As Much For Me, As It Is For You 🍋

Sorry it's been so long for this one! But I've been so interested in mapping out the other story. But here's my very first smutty chapter for your troubles 😉

-------------------

Arya knew Hawks had a bad day, so she wasn't super surprised when he was exceptionally affectionate during their flight home. When he wrapped his arms around her, one actually snaked around to grasp at her nape, and she responded by doing the same to him. Running her fingers through his hair, making small circles along his scalp, and he would make cute little whining noises. Hawks would nuzzle into her more, she could feel his warm breath on her, giving her goosebumps.

"Do you want to talk about it?" She asked him. Hawks shook his head, and she left it at that, not pushing too much. "Well, just remember, tomorrow is a new day. Luckily, I've already made bento boxes for dinner tonight. We can just relax tonight, okay?"

Hawks nodded, and hurried his pace to get them home faster.

Once they landed on the balcony, Hawks didn't let her go at first. Continuing to hold her up as he entered the key code, unlocking the window, and carrying her inside. Arya wasn't entirely sure why, but allowed him to do what he wanted. When he set her down finally, in the living room, she still stood close to him. Almost chest to chest, and studied him. He still hadn't really said a word to her yet, the two only communicating through eye contact alone. Something behind his eyes pleaded with her. Hawks looked away for only a second, to move a lock of her hair behind her ear, and Arya almost though he would move to kiss her.

"I'm going to go shower, okay?" Arya said, barely above a whisper, with a shaky breath.

Hawks nodded at her again. "Don't take too long," He replied, finally.

Arya did as she was asked, as quickly as she could anyway. She washed her hair, and lathered her body, trying to wash the negative energy away. When she got out, she put on a dark, loose fitted t-shirt, and some pajama shorts. After promising Hawks that they could just relax the rest of the night, she planned to be as comfortable as possible. Which meant no more bra for the rest of the day.

When she walked out of her room, there was no sign of Hawks anywhere. The lights were dim, and there was an odd silence. In the kitchen though, she found a note. 'Join me on the rooftop.' It said. Where is the rooftop access? She didn't even realize there was a way to get to the roof. Arya grabbed the bento boxes she put together the night before, and entered Hawks' room. From the ceiling, a hatch was open with stairs that looked like it would lead to an attic, but looking up, she saw the deep orange of the late sunset and the brightest stars starting to show through.

"Hawks?" She called out to him, and not a second later two feathers shot down through the opening. They grabbed hold of the bentos to carry them up, so she could climb the stairs.

Once she passed through the threshold, she saw the bright orange sunset, speckles of pink and light clouds through out. A cool breeze sent a chill down her spin, and suddenly she regretted not putting a bra on. Hopefully the dark t-shirt would hide her nipples now at attention.

Hawks was sitting at one of the mesh patio chairs, looking up at the sky, and he appeared to be lost in thought. His feathers set the bento boxes down on a small table next to him. Arya walked over to him, and sat down at his side on the patio chair. There was another chair, but she figured he may want her close by like before. She noticed he had changed out of Hero outfit, now in grey sweatpants and a t-shirt. She wanted to touch him so bad, give him some comfort, but she didn't want to overwhelm him.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

Hawks took a deep breath, and released it. "I will be. Today just ... wasn't what I expected."
