The Plan

No one spoke for a moment after Hawks left the room so suddenly. It was an uneasy silence.

"Are you all right?" She heard Nezu ask her. She nodded.

Only then did she realize she had been nervously opening and closing her hands into fists. She could still feel him on her. There was still nothing wrong with him, that she could tell at least. But no one has ever made such an effort of touching her like that.

"I'm assuming he doesn't know." Nezu spoke again. "I at least know we haven't told him."

She shook her head. "No, he doesn't know. I'm sure he would keep his distance if he knew."

Nezu let out a sigh. "I'm sorry, I know today has already been terrible. I'm trying not to make it more difficult, but I think after today, everything will fall into place."

Suddenly, the office door got kicked open. No knock this time, and a small older woman stalked into the room. Arya recognized her immediately.

"Oh! My dear Arya! Look at you, a mess!" She looked forward, glaring at All Might. He flinched, then she turned her gaze back to Arya. "I told him to bring me to the hospital. Or better yet, they should have just brought you here. We wouldn't have to deal with all," Recovery Girl motioned at the bandages on her arms. "this."

Arya chuckled. "It wasn't his fault, I promise. I couldn't really control where the ambulance took me, I was a little incapacitated."

Recovery Girl moved to Arya's side and planted a kiss on her cheek. "Muuahhhhh!"
She felt a slight increase in her body temperature as the little left over energy she had moved from her center outward. Her body tingled and felt it mostly focus to her arms and the back of her head. The aching in her back and rear from bruises seized, and everything came back to standstill after a couple seconds. Her arms still felt a little tight and sore, but overall she felt better.

"Now go ahead, you can take the bandages off now. They should be completely healed, unfortunately it'll still scar." Arya did as she was told, revealing ridges in the skin with a glossy shine, showing evidence of the burn that was there. "In a couple minutes, we'll go to the infirmary and I'll remove those stitches."

"I'd like to go over the plans for the rest of the afternoon first." The principal stated. "I'm sure you'd like to shower and get comfortable."

Arya did, she felt insanely gross from being in the hospital. Plus, she was sure there was still some dried blood in her hair and scalp from splitting her head. She suddenly felt like it was starting to itch. Ewww. She fought trying to run her fingers through her hair.

I would love to shower but I don't have anything to change into.

There was another knock on the office door this time, and another hero walked in. Arya's eyes widened, excitedly. "Midnight!" She jumped up, ran over to give her a hug.

She noticed that Midnight wasn't wearing her normal Hero outfit. She wore a cute sundress, that was tight around the waist but flowed out toward the end. Underneath, she still wore her skin tight suit, to prevent her quirk from knocking everyone out around her. Arya thought she looked absolutely adorable.

"It's so good to see you!" Midnight wrapped her arms around her, giving her tight squeeze. When she pulled away, she handed Arya a bag, as if she read her mind. "Here! These are some clothes for you to change into, you can shower in my room. Then I'm taking you to the mall!"

"We figured today would be the best time for you to get your essentials before Hawks picks you up this evening." Nezu said, giving her a knowing look.

Arya looked at her hands, he was right. The gloves were the essential he was referring to. Granted, there were a ton of other things she needed.

"Do you trust him?" She asked, out of no where.

Nezu tilted his head to the side, not expecting the question. "Hawks? He hasn't given us a reason not to trust him."

"He is quite young, especially for already being the Number 2 Hero, but people love him." All Might spoke up finally. "Also, as of recently, he's the one Hero that has the most interaction with the League. We think he would be the one most ideal to keep you safe. Especially, if you don't want to use your quirk."

What does he mean by 'interaction'? Does Hawks do undercover stuff too? Wouldn't that put us more at risk? But......if I wanted to get information on the League.....

She couldn't help it as the League kept a hold of her thoughts. 'It seems like something personal. Don't you think?' Hawks words kept repeating itself in her head. Dabi.

"I honestly don't know why they would be after me. If it's my quirk they're after, I'm curious how they know about it."

U.A. and the administrators had helped in making sure there was as little information about her as possible. Even her records were sealed. If anyone was to find them, there would be no description of her quirk, only one word in its place, 'Force'. If someone were to find her true name, those files still listed her as quirkless.

"Unfortunately, right now, everything is up in the air, just speculation. I wouldn't dwell too much on it. You're stressing enough as it is. We don't want you to accidentally injure yourself." All Might sounded worried.

"Has it gotten any better?" She looked at Nezu, meeting his gaze. He meant her quirk, which honestly, it hadn't gotten better.

Just before she was forced(kind of) to take a break from her work, she took energy from too many different people to get as much information as possible. Only this time, the memories actually caused physical harm to her. She woke up with all kinds of scars that were not inflicted herself. Which had never happened before. It scared her enough to take some time off. Arya felt lucky that instance was not for a paying customer, it was for something personal. But it was possible she may have jinxed herself, she told herself she would never use her quirk for personal means again. Anytime she did, it had consequences.

"No, if anything it's gotten worse." She replied finally.

It wouldn't be entirely personal to do research on the League, right? This is technically a case now. It's not like I would try to find them myself. Right?

The concern wasn't revolving around the League entirely though. Just him. Touya.
Is it bad for her to wish it was true?

-------------------------

The rest of the afternoon went as smoothly as they had hoped. Recovery Girl was able to remove her stitches, and Arya was able to finally shower. After getting refreshed and clean, Midnight escorted Arya to the Hero Mall so she could get everything she needed. Arya was happy that Midnight didn't mind walking. She needed to replenish the energy she lost from catching her fall and the healing. Absorbing energy from the plants and trees they past, she felt much better by the time they got there.

The Hero Mall was exactly what it sounds like. It wasn't open to the general public and you had to display ID to enter. The mall had enough security and privacy that Heros could come do their shopping without any issues from fans or press. It even had a supermarket.

Arya allowed Midnight to dress her up, helping her find the proper attire for a teaching environment. The teachers at were heros just wore their hero outfit, but obviously Arya didn't have one of those. She was thankful for Midnight being there since she hated shopping with a passion.
Arya was able to obtain everything she needed, including a couple sets of gloves. Bras, underwear, a couple pairs of jeans, band and graphic t-shirts, and the different business casual outfits Midnight had picked out.

By the time they returned to U.A., it was beginning to turn dusk, and Hawks was there waiting for her.
