Definition: Something that is overused and lacks original thought.

I'm getting real tired f the following 2 things:
1) being asked to read cliché fanfiction over and over again that is dreary and boring to read and a complete waste of my limited free time.
2) being asked what I consider to be cliché Pokemon fanfiction.

This is getting ridiculous how much I've been asked this. So, I'm just going to give you guys a quick run-down of what I think is cliché Pokemon fanfiction, and I'm sure both dragonrose8910 and Charowak will agree. I do write some of these things into my books, but I back it up with original thoughts and reasons that makes the book completely original, so it's not cliché.

1) OCxSilver. Enough said there. Now don't get me wrong, OCxSilver books aren't all necessarily bad, but I have yet to find one that's actually original other than dragonrose8910's "Saving You" and the famous "IHEAY."

2) OCxN or just N in general. Sooooo many fanfictions written about a girl with a creepy crush on N and the whole thing is just...Blah.

3) Humans with Pokemon powers. Ever since I wrote TTTDU, I've been seeing a lot more people writing these types of things and now I'm mad >_> they turned my original book into a freaking cliché thing....ugh.

4) Talking Pokemon. Unless you're N or you have a legitimate reason for humans being able to understand the Pokemon, don't do it. It's so overdone and annoying. PS: Mystery dungeon fanfics are exempt from this one.

5) Overusing legendary Pokemon (unless you have a VERY good reason) and/or having super rare Pokemon and shinies on your team. These Pokemon are supposed to be RARE. It's not realistic AT ALL if you have a team of 5 shiny Pokemon and a freaking Rayquaza.

6) Writing a book based on the game 100% and the dialogue is word-for-word. If I wanted to read something that's exactly like the game, I would just go play the game again.

7) Person from the real world wishes on a shooting star and ends up in the Pokemon world -___- seriously? This has been done so many times. If you're going to do this, do what I did and find an original way to do it like in my future book Legendary Awakening.

8) The one gay ship written about in Preciousmetalshipping. Seriously? Why is that literally the ONLY one written about? There are tons of awesome gay ships besides this one, like Rangerschoolshipping.

Did I miss anything? This is just off the top of my head, so someone comment another cliché thing on here that I didn't mention so I can add it to the list.
