Author Insider: Eight

So last night I came up with a genius idea for a short story, and I thought I would share it with you all :3 this is going to be really cool...

Description: In the year 1692, the town of Cinnibar was ruled by a wealthy family who specialized in the fishing industry: the Winslow's. The Winslow's presided over Cinnibar effectively and efficiently, and were respected by every townsperson. Christopher Winslow, the air to the Winslow family fortune, and his little sister Noelle, were the two people who made Cinnibar feel like Cinnibar. Without these two young adults running through the streets, laughing and smiling like they always did, nothing would be the same. But when Christopher gets married on a whim to a strange woman named Gwendolyn, Noelle has her suspicions. She quickly discovers that her beloved brother's fiancée is a witch and threatens to expose her, but the witch reacts quicker. Gwendolyn curses Noelle to never age a day and be locked in a ghost-like state for all of eternity, forced to stay in the manor and watch her family grow old and die as the witch brought ruin to her family's once good name. 328 years later... Red, and his two friends Leaf and Green, travel to Cinnibar Island for Kanto's annual "Halloween Fest." Red walks by the old Winslow Manor and asks a few locals why they don't hold the festival in there instead of outside, and they just laugh at him and say, "HAH! You're kidding, right? Winslow Manor is the single most haunted place in all of Kanto! Way worse than Lavender Tower!" Red found this a little strange, but didn't know how to investigate further. Not wanting to be a third wheel any longer to Leaf and Green, his two best friends that just happened to be dating, Red wanders off with his Pikachu and explores for a bit. But when rain begins to fall and Pikachu takes off running into the nearest building for shelter, Red soon finds himself standing on the porch to Winslow Manor. Will Red find Pikachu and make it out alive? Will he discover that the ancient rumors are true before it's too late? Or will he just be another victim of the Ghost Girl that haunts the Manor?

So? What do you guys think? I'm going to try and make this really dark and creepy, that way it's not cliche and like all of my other stuff.
