The New Prosector

Kurai was trying to digest the fact that the angelic Park Jimin was also in the gang. But it was rather hard, considering the fact that his face looked quite innocent.

An absolute angel to be precise.

But well, he was more like a devil under cover.

After she shook his extended hand, he took a step back and started analyzing her from head to toe.

Screw being innocent.

He was quite shameless.

She tried to ignore him by stuffing some chicken in her mouth, chewing it while she pulled her feet up and sat on the glass chair with her legs crisscrossed.

Jin broke the silence, "did you need something Jimin?"

The younger man turned over to him, "hyung, I'm hungry!"

He whined with a cute pout plastered on his face, hoping for some attention.

Jin shook his head while trying to hold back his laughter to keep things professional, although it was already too late for that.

After a few seconds, the brunette handed the pink-haired a bowl of chicken noodle ramen soup.

Jimin started eating, not even bothering to sit down first. He ate like he hadn't tasted food for weeks.

Jin looked at him satisfied, but he suddenly seemed to remembered something.

"Did you finish them off?" he asked, no more humor was left in his voice.

Jimin glanced at him, holding his bowl while slurping the noodles.

"Which ones?" he asked carelessly with his mouth full.

Jin replied, "the group we got last week, at the Woo company."

"Oh, you mean codes 109 to 129?"

Jin checked his phone, "yep, they're the ones."

Jimin nodded while chewing his chicken. "They're ready for packaging."

"Good job. I'll give another bowl as a reward."

The younger man started swaying from side to side, showing his happiness by a somewhat tiny dance.

Jin typed something in his phone and glanced at Kurai, checking her for a few seconds, as if he wanted to make sure she didn't make sense out of the conversation they had.

What he didn't notice was that the young girl who was quietly sitting there, already had suspectful thoughts swirling in her mind.

'He said code 109 to 129. That means they only got 20 products? That number's way too small for a huge company.'

She was thinking about the odds of their words, while trying to ignore Jimin's happy dance.

'But codes? Why didn't he just name the product's name? Unless it's some illegal drugs. Or maybe some smuggled expensive cars.'

She glanced at the pink-blond man who was eating like a happy child.

'Or humans.'

Jin stopped observing her and gave his gaze back to Jimin.

The pinky noticed him and raised his bowl up a bit, "you want some, Hyung?"

Jin shook his head. "No, thanks I'm not hungry."
