Later that evening Kageyama walked downstairs. The cafe was due to close in an hour. Usually we didn't have customers this late. He took a seat next to me leaning on my shoulder.

"Kageyama we need to talk to you about something."
He nodded.
"Yeah, you do."
I don't know why but those words made me really nervous.

Suga placed a coffee in front of him and took a seat at the opposite table.
"The ghoul who attacked you that night, it was a friend of ours, her name was Koda." Suga spoke in his usual calm voice but his words were heavy and filled with despair.

"I know, Hinata told me about her."
Everyone looked at me. I had forgotten to tell them. Just as I was about to speak Kageyama spoke up.
"She also told me her name that night. Just as I thought I would die."

"Are your memories starting to come back?" I asked.
He nodded and took my hand holding it tight. I think he noticed I was shaking and he was trying to calm us both down.

"What do you remember?" Daichi asked.

He explained how he remembered storming away from the gym and walking down an ally which was a shortcut to his house. Then he remembered the pain he felt as his life flashed before his eyes. Also how the others had arrived to save him.

Nobody really wanted to think about that night, but it was good for him to talk about it instead of bottling it up.

"What happened to Koda that night?" Kageyama asked but he wasn't expecting the answer he got.
"I killed her." Tsukishima looked over at him and saw his expression change. From what Hinata had told Kageyama it seemed as if she was a nice person.

"Why did you all save me?" He asked clutching the bottom of his shirt.
"Is that even a question, why wouldn't we save you? I was shocked by his response. Did he not want us to save him?

"If I didn't kill her you would be dead. As much as I don't like you I guess you're tolerable and I'd rather have you alive." No matter the situation Tsukishima couldn't but make snarky comments.
"The organs used in the transplant they're-."

Yachi cut him off.
"Yeah, they're Koda's."
Kageyama put his head on the table and started crying as he clenched his teeth. I put my arm around him and stared at the table. I didn't know what I could say to comfort him in that moment.

"Don't feel too bad, when she attacked you she wasn't the same anymore." Suga said.
Kageyama looked over at Suga as if he was expecting some kind of answer.
"She lost her mother and drove herself insane. She abandoned us completely there was no bringing her back to how she was before."

"But why did you save me? I would have just died and I wouldn't have to live like this." Everyone was stared at him in silence. He started crying again and everyone walked over to Kageyama showering him with comfort.

The door swung open startling us. Four men in suits walked in holding briefcases. Everyone immediately knew they were doves.
"Sorry, are we interrupting something?"
"No no can we get you anything?" Suga started rushing around putting mugs and plates into the sink.

"No, we just came here to talk." They sat down at a table next to the window and pulled out a notepad and pen. We were all on edge. Did they know about us?

"Where were you when we came to your school. It seems you were all absent. Apart from the ginger." He stared at me intensely just like he had done when they came to my classroom.

"Oh we were waiting at the gym, we had a practice match with another school."
"I see."
Another officer asked us what school it was. Suga was reluctant to reply he didn't want to cause any trouble. Plus, they hadn't actually had a practice match.
"Nekoma." Daichi said.

The officers looked at each other. I couldn't read their expressions. Was this it? Had we been found out? Yachi and Kiyoko moved their chairs and sat next to us. Sitting next to the officers must have made them uncomfortable.

"No need to feel uncomfortable, we aren't here to arrest you or anything." They all laughed but we all just sat restlessly.

"Did any of you see anything whilst leaving that day? Anything suspicious?" The officer at the back stroked his chin with his pen staring each of us down one by one.
"No nothing." Tsukishima said returning the officers glare.

The four of them stared at each other for a second and then nodded.

"Well thank you for your time, we'll be leaving now."
Every time they reached for their briefcases I got so scared thinking they were going to attack us. They left closing the door gently behind them. I heard their footsteps walking down the stairs and my eyes started to well up with tears. I broke down crying I couldn't help but think about my mum and sister. The fear they must have felt, too weak to defend themselves.

"Hinata!" Yachi hugged me from behind.
"What's wrong?" She was wiping my tears with her thumbs.

I couldn't get my words out for a second
"My mum, my sister." I began to sob even more and Kageyama grabbed my hand holding it close to his face. Tsukishima and Yamaguchi ran over to help comfort me. In that moment I was surrounded with love but felt so lonely at the same time.
I leaned into Kageyama hiding my face in his jumper as he held me.

"I'm sorry."

I don't know why he felt the need to apologise to me, but he did. He carried me upstairs in his arms and we cuddled together.

"Never leave me okay." I kissed his cheek and he kissed my forehead. With that I fell asleep.

Later that night:
"Hey." Tsukishima walked in and saw Kageyama holding me whilst I was sleeping in his arms
"Oh hi." Kageyama replied.
"What's on your mind?" Tsukishima was good at knowing when something was bothering someone.

"It's nothing."
"It's something."

Kageyama thought for a second and then explained what he was thinking about. It was a memory from the day he was attacked. Earlier in the morning, his dad had told him to stay away from Hinata. He mentioned something about his sister, Natsu, being a ghoul.

Tsukishima didn't know how to react at first. This was bad. If they knew Hinata was a ghoul they had to leave.

"Kageyama come with me."
