Stray Cats

When he arrived at school he started stumbling through the corridors holding onto the walls to get his balance. A sweet smell filled the air around him. Something he could eat he thought to himself. But when he looked into the classrooms he realised the thing he wanted eat, was the people. He just stared for a while not knowing what to do until a familiar face looked up and noticed him.

Noya bolted out of the classroom pulling Kageyama's hood over his face.

"What the hell are you doing your eye is showing idiot." Noya dragged Kageyama by his hoodie to a bathroom. He checked inside before pushing him to the ground and locking the door.

"I know you aren't used to our world yet but if the CCG suspects you in any way you'll be killed or thrown in prison do you want that?" Kageyama was
so clouded by hunger that he just stared at the ground. Noya's voice echoed and he couldn't quite make out what he was saying.

He looked up at Noya, the pain visible in his eyes.

"I'm so fucking hungry."

Noya was about to say something but his phone buzzed.
It was a text from Yachi simply reading:
"Doves."

He splashed water over Kageyama's face "Snap out of it."

Noya then unlocked the door and dragged Kageyama out of the bathroom by his wrist. They ran into Tsukishima and Yamaguchi on the way.

"Tsukishima!" He turned around to see the two boys running towards them. Kageyama was covering his left eye with his hand.

"Shit." Tsukki was staring at the boy who was covering his face. He put his arm around him in an attempt to shield him incase the doves spotted them.
"Keep your head low" Tsukki said pushing his head down.

They walked as fast as they could to get to the others who were waiting for them behind the gym.

"Kageyama are you okay?" Kiyoko cupped her hands around his face his Kakugan eye was still glowing a deep shade of red. She ruffled around in her bag and pulled out an eyepatch placing it over his eye.
"Keep that eye hidden from now own." She slumped down on the wall in-front of him.

Suga and Daichi approached the others and only a few seconds later Tanaka appeared.
"Wheres Hinata?" Suga looked slightly concerned.
"I don't know, we didn't see him." Even Tsukki was beginning to look worried.

I walked to the place where we usually met in emergencies behind the gym everyone else was already there.
"Where were you we were starting to worry." Sugawara shook my shoulders I could see the relief in his eyes.
"Sorry the CCG came to our class to warn us about a ghoul who was seen heading towards out school." I turned too see Kageyama with an eyepatch covering his left eye." There was no need to explain anymore.

Moments later Ukai pulled up with the minibus and told everyone to get in. Kageyama was starting to lose consciousness and we had to lift him onto the bus and lay him down on the two spare seats.
Daichi picked up his phone and started dialling someone's number he held it to his ear and I heard someone pick up.

"We've ran into some trouble and we're heading your way."
At that moment everyone knew exactly where we were headed. It was a simple conversation but it was enough to know what was going on.

About an hour later we pulled up next to a small ally way. The door creaked open and we carried Kageyama inside, at this point he was completely unconscious. We laid him down on the small blue chairs that we had pushed together. I just sat with him, holding his hands in mine, his head was resting on my lap.

"We should feed him." Suga said staring at the unconscious boy.
I didn't like the idea of doing that against his will. But he can't keep starving himself it would kill him eventually. So I reluctantly agreed.
