Ang daldal ni Jessica. Literally can't she just eat? Puro kasi imik hindi na lang kumain. At si bruha talagang inubos ang niluto kong sinigang, hindi naman ako tinulungan mag-luto.
"Kuya, ano 'yung narinig naming mga barilan? Ano police ka na?"
"Yes. It was the police, no. It was certainly not me." Jonas said.
All through out dinner, Jessica just rambled. Gusto ko na siya tusukin ng tinidor. Wala ba talagang mute sa babaeng ito?
"Oh shoot!" She suddenly said. "May mga ginagawa nga pala ako sa unit ko! Alis muna ako mga bruha!"
Dali-dali siyang umalis at naiwan kami ni Jonas. He couldn't look at me, I also can't look at him!
Jessica! Alam kong sinadiya mo ito! Kung madadapa ka sana sapol!
"So uh," Napatingin ako kay Jonas. "You look great." He smiled then continued eating.
Noong natapos kami, I told him to wait for me. I was gonna wash the dishes while he watched some news. Noong natapos ako ay tinabihan ko na siya.
"Baby do you have some wipes?" Nawala ata ako sa sarili noong sinabi niya iyon. ACKKKK! HE CALLED ME BABY! "I-I mean uh...Karie."
"Y-Yeah. Hold on, I'll just get them." I went to my room, out of breathe and panting like I just ran a marathon. Kinuha ko na ang wipes at binalikan si Jonas.
We were just watching news about the city's traffic. Naiilang ako dahil sobrang focused ni Jonas sa balita habang ako, parang punyetang nakakapos sa hininga. Gahhh! Ayoko na!
"Jonas." I called him. Tumingin siya with questioning eyes. "Let's talk." Kaya ko ito. "I'm ready."
"A-About what?" He stuttered.
Naluluha na ako pero pinigilan ko. "About us, masaya ka ba talaga sa piling ko? Was I a horrible person? Did I not make you happy?"
"Karie...pwede na ba akong mag-explain? I can tell you why right? I'm free to explain?" Tumango ako.
"First, I'm sorry I lashed out and broke it off. I was just so stressed that time and pinuntahan kita para sabihin mo na kaya ko pero...pero...pero." Hindi ko matuloy, the sight of Emilia and Jonas kissing was too much.

I had trouble choosing, si Emilia ang napili ni Dad para matulungan ako since he knew her. Wala na akong nagawa. When she started I started noticing red flags, she was flirting with me. She did everything to have lunch with me, I knew I didn't want to keep it from you because I didn't like the way she talked to me. I was scared, Karie. Hindi ko nakayanan na sabihin sa'yo ang napapansin ko, akala ko kapag ako lang ang kumilos ay hindi ka masasaktan but I was wrong." I wipped his tear off. "That kiss...you saw that kiss pero hindi ko ginusto iyon. She manipulated me, used my weakness against me." Kinuha niya ang kamay ko at nilaro. "You broke up with me...without letting me explain why you saw that. Sinesante ko siya the next day because you said it was engraved that you dated a cheater like me. I'm sorry."
"Sorry din." I said.
"Alam mo that day also engraved on my heart. It was the day the woman I love doubted herself because of my stupid brain."
"Wait, what kind of manipulation did she do?"
"She told me na...papabagsakin ka niya."
I moved closer and kissed his cheek. "Hindi niya kaya ang bagay na iyon, Jonas."
