Chapter 8

Anna's P.O.V

I woke feeling different. There was no pain just being different. I couldn't remember anything from last night only coming up to my room. I decided to see if Jack remembered what happened last night.

I knocked on his door, he opened it with a gasp. I spun around thinking some nightmare was behind me, nothing. Next thing I know Jack pulls me into his room shutting the door.

Jacks P.O.V

Anna looked very different. Her eyes were now a golden hazel just like pitchs. Her hair was also even DARKER than Pitch's hair. Even most of her feckless were gone! Her skin was turning grey!

I pulled her into my room and slammed the door. I inspected her even more carefully. "What are you doing?" Anna asked with a look of 'he's gone crazy'. She doesn't know?!? How couldnt she know? I sighed, "Go look at youself." I said pointing toward te bathroom. She ran in and gasped. She ran back out looking scared as ever as she hugs me tightly. "What's happening to me?" She whispered. "I think Pitch might be up to this..., we should tell the others." She nods as we look for the rest of the guardians.

Anna's P.O.V

We found everyone else in the globe room. "Anna, jack! You're up!" Boomed Norths voice. Everyone saw me and almost everyone gasped and/or just gave me worried eyes.

Tooth flew over and inspected all my features, she actually found dark Sand behind my ears.

"Sandy we need you to try and get the sand out of her!" Jack exclaimed. Sandy nodded and had me follow him back to my room. When I entered I felt a sudden drop in temperature. It could have been jack but I can't be for sure.

I sat on the bed and sandy flew some dream sand on top of my head putting me into a deep sleep.

**Dream**

A woman was sitting in a rocking chair. She was crying while her husband tried comforting her. The man wore a purple waist coat, a green button up shirt under, stripes that are purple and green pants, and leather black shoes. He had stringy green hair with white makeup all over his face, black around his eyes and red lipstick making him look like he was smiling.

The woman wore a black slim, long dress and black slippers. She had freckles along her face and arms, brown curly shoulder length hair. He was also holding a picture. I walked closer and it was a picture of a small toddler with both blond hair, freckles, and the same eyes as me! She was just like a miniature me. Suddenly the woman whispered, "I miss you Anna." I gasped. So they did adopt me! And I seriously am the jokers daughter! But wait she misses me... I thought I was adopted, why would they give me up if they missed me?! "Why did she have to be taken from us." The man got ticked off when she said this. He ran straight to a door and left yelling, "I'm killing the man who took her." And everything started shaking, everything went straight to darkness.

Everyone was staring at me with worry all over their faces.

"Are you ok?" Asked jack sitting me up. "Yeah why you ask?" Why was everyone so shaken up. I got up and went to the bathroom and noticed I was back to normal. I sighed in relief. I walked back out to more worried faces. "Um.. Are you guys ok?" I asked unsure. "You were asleep for seven days. And while you were asleep you kept whispering in a language none of us understood." Replied tooth. Seven days I've been asleep and talking in some language. "Did I do anything else in my sleep?" "You looked like you were in a never ending nightmare. What were you dreaming about?" Told jack. I sighed, "I dreamt of who I really am. I saw my real parents." "But you were freaking out... Alot... In your sleep. Is that really all you dreamt about?" He asked and I nodded.
