Chapter 5

Anna's P.O.V

***dream***

I was running, running somewhere and from someone. I heard a scream to my left. It was myself a a little girl but with a different father and same mother. "No daddy!!" I cried in child version. The man started walking away. I couldn't tell who it was, all I could make up was green stringy hair.

I looked back to the little me, I was gone. I was surrounded by black sandy horses. I was the only one in a small light section as the horses try to get in but fail. I call for help. "No one can hear you." Says a voice from behind the horses. I look to where the voice had come from. I saw a man, his skin was a shade of grey, his hair was black and sort of spiky hair. He was wearing a dark black robe that looked almost like it was his own skin. I thought for a minute about who he was or why I was hear. When a thought came to mind, I'd read many books of a boogieman who hid under kids beds or just in shadow giving people nightmares, Pitch. "Correct." He said. "Wait you can read my mind?" I questioned. "Of corse, how else do I know your fears." He told me like it was that simple. "Oh yeah then what is my fears?" I asked crossing my arms. "Your father most of all, he hits you and cuts you, an that's how you get all your scars. Then there's the girl. I give you thoughts nighmares by the way. He said smiling. And the dream faded.

***end of dream***

I woke out of breath and gasping for air. My vision was blurry and nothing made since. Who stabbed me? Did Jack? He was the only person with me and he was the only person I could see, hear or since was with me! And if its possible why would pitch stab me and only tell me who he was and tell me my feta even if I already knew them.

I looked around the room and saw I was in a small room that was Christmasy. Snow globes and Christmas knickknacks littered the tables and dressers. Candy canes were all over the walls in a wallpaper. Red mostly was in the room.

I sat up but feeling a sharp pain, ignoring it I go up and stumbled out the door and into a colorful hallway. No one was there so I stumbled down the hallway. Ounce I got down the hall and walked through some huge doors I saw a kangaroo. I stared wide eyed thinking I was going crazy.

"Uh." Is all I could manage to say. The big kangaroo rolled his eyes and walked away. I shook my head thinking I was dilutional and started looking around, before I could get a food look around I saw a huge globe with little lights in random parts of the world. In the corner of my eye I saw her. She was stalking closer to me. I backed away and pressed up against the wall. She walked closer to me savoring every moment of my fear.

I stood there stunned until five people, or myths, walked in. They watched me like I was crazy while I stared at my biggest fear that they couldn't see. "Anna? Are you ok?" Jack asked walking up to me. I didn't hesitate, I ran to the room I had woken up in an slammed the door shut, hiding in the closet. I sat shaking, and holding my knees to my chest trying to escape the world. I couldn't close my eyes I just sat there staring into space.

Jack's P.O.V

I kept thinking of Anna and her father as I walked around the halls, I don't know if he'll ever come after Anna again. I knocked into Bunnymund. "Oi! Watch where you going!" He told me hopping off. "Oh yeah and your little friend's in the main room." He called before disappearing down the hall.

I walked toward the main room and ran into everyone. "Jack. Where's your friend is she alright?" Asked Tooth. "I don't know I'm going to go see her." I replied and walked off. We all entered the main room which held the globe and a very frightened looking Anna. Se looked terrified of something we all couldn't see. "Anna? Are you ok?" I asked walking up to her. She just ran off down toward what I guessed was her room. I ran after her with everyone else trailing behind. I heard the door slam and walked into her room just in time to see her go into the closet and shut the door. Everyone else came in and looked at the closet. "Anna, are you ok?" Asked opening the doors. She was sitting on the floor shaking and hugging her knees to he chest. I knelt down beside her and put my hand on her shoulder to get her to look at me. She flinched and I pulled back. She finally nodded and got up like everything was ok.
