Tw: Unsympathetic Roman, fighting,

Roman went into Damien's tower. "Damien! Give him back." He hissed. Damien held Irra close. "Why?"

"Cause I need to talk to him." Roman answered crossing his arms. "He told he what happened! I think you're a hypocrite!" Damien hissed.

Irra held Damien's shirt tightly. "How am I hypocrite?" Roman asked. "You don't want him to hang out with a creature because you fell in love with two!" Damien smirked.

"You can't use tha-" Roman was cut off. "Yes I fucking can! It's not my fault. If you don't want to hang out with creatures anymore that's fine, just let Irra do it!" Damien interrupted.

Roman huffed and grew angry. His temper already gone. "Just give Irra back your scaled monster! I can't believe Remus created you! All you do is cause problems! You aren't family!" He yelled. Irra squeaked and the 9 year old held onto Damien's leg.

Damien chuckled. "Well if you say so Pride! Now get the fuck out or I'm turning you into a damn toad!" They hissed, their eyes changing from a pale brown. The left a red to yellow with a black slit pupil. The right was a green to yellow with a black slit pupil.

Irra hugged Damien tightly. Damien pet Irra's hair. "Go to Remus hon." They told him. Irra nodded and sunk out.

Roman and Damien just glared at each other. "Get the fuck out. I work for Remus only, not you." They hissed.

Roman huffed and left with no word, yet he wanted to scream so many different things.

Damien laid in the hammock that was put on the room as a napping place.

"I can't believe he loved me."

——A Few Weeks Later——

The narrator doesn't think they will ever catch a break.

Remus and Roman weren't exactly on talking terms. Roman wanting to talk to Remus and apologize but his ego stopping him.

Damien had hardly spoken, now giving one word answers unless speaking with Remus. They did seem cold and spoke kinda numbly though.

Logan and Virgil are trying to help the friends get back together and the twins on talking terms again.

Tommy and Janus were overwhelmed with helping Thomas, working and trying to help the kids.

Irra wanted to help but the stress going around everyone caused him to be forgotten for the most part. He now spent most days in the Imagination hiding in Remus' forest. Roman had also forbade him from talking to the sirens.

————————

Remus and Roman sat on their thrones. The silence that hung in the room was was eerie and uncomfortable.

Damien came out of a vent. "Duke Remus. JD has requested an audience." They said. "No. Don't let him in." Roman hissed.

Damien just flipped Roman off and waited for Remus to answer. "About what?" He asked. "The recent events. He was also curious about how he could still talk to Irra and not get in trouble for it." They answered.

"No! He shall not come in!" Roman yelled. The other two flinched. Damien flipped Roman off again. "Stop doing that!" Roman hissed.

Damien glared. "I have a small vile around my neck. I throw it on you and you become a frog! I asked Duke Remus not you Prince Roman!" They hissed before turning to Remus.

Remus sighed. "No. I don't wish to talk about it yet." Damien nodded and went back into the vent.

"Remus you need to listen! No one should be able to speak with a siren! They shouldn't be here!" Roman argued.

Remus growled. "It's not my fault that you fell in love with my best friend after they saved you from a siren! He accidentally cast a spell big deal! I've known JD and his family for so long! They wouldn't hurt us! His family has been nothing but kind! Take your head out of your ass!"

Roman and Remus just looked at each other. Remus glaring at his imbecile of a twin while Roman stared in shock.

"You are ridiculous." Remus hissed before turning away. Roman sighed and faced away from Remus.

————————

Irra walked out into the hallway. It was empty and everyone was fast asleep. The 17 year old went down the stairs. He froze when he saw Damien asleep on the couch. He knows they're a heavy sleeper so he continued.

He went to the Imagination door and glanced back at Damien. The dragon was still asleep on the couch, peacefully asleep. Too peaceful for a normal night for Damien. Had they even moved?

Irra payed no mind saying that it was fine. He quickly went into the Imagination.

———————

Irra went out to lake and tapped the water. JD swam up and rested on the shore. They both smiled and hugged.

"I'm glad you can sneak out without anyone noticing." JD smiled. "Yeah. Me too. This is like the one time I'm glad everyone forgot about me." Irra joked as JD sat on the grass next to Irra.

He nudged Irra. "Awe come on! Don't be mean to yourself." Irra chuckled and playfully pushed him away. "Oh fine."

————————

The pair leaned on each other talking about anything and everything for hours. Joking and singing in the dead of night. Not like anything or anyone was around to hear them as JD's family was far underwater sleeping, sound muffled by water.

Irra sighed. "Is something wrong Irra? Did I say something?" JD asked turning to his friend. They sat up. Irra shook his head. "No. Just I wanna tell you something because it's been eating me up. I just don't want you to be weirded out and leave me." Irra told him.

JD held Irra's hands. "Whatever it is I'll understand. I won't leave." He said softly. Irra looked at JD, his eyes begging. "Really?" JD nodded.

"I switch ages. I have a lot of trauma and when I think about it I get upset. My mind can't handle that so I age regress. That's not why I'm here all the time it's because I'm little. I don't have a real age because I change so often. I shouldn't have kept this I know. I understand if you don't wanna be friends anymore."Irra told him.

JD was kinda confused, he didn't know what age regression was. "So it happens when you have flashbacks and are stressed?" He asked. Irra nodded. "Yeah. If I have a bad memory and I get triggered by it, I will become little. But physically as well." He explained.

JD paused. "Ohhh so you're the little kid I see with the others go into the kingdom and in the woods!" He said. Irra nodded.

JD hugged him. "Awe that's fine Irra! I'm glad you told me!" He smiled. Irra hugged back tightly. "Thank you for understanding!"

JD chuckled and they pulled away. "Of course. You better go. The sun is gonna be up soon and you need sleep."

Irra nodded and stood up. "I'll see you tomorrow then. I can come more often because now you know." He smiled. JD gave a thumbs up.

They bid their goodbyes and Irra left. JD dove into the water as Irra sunk out.

Roman glared from the woods. "I was right."
