Tw: Nightmares, mention of murder, Patton, getting stabbed, accidental abuse, yelling

Things in the Mind Palace was still not okay.

Irra was home but nothing changed.

Janus still cried himself to sleep and blamed himself for what happened to Irra.

Irra was shaken up and was always clung to someone. He even sat outside the bathroom when someone was in the shower.

Remus and Roman weren't on talking terms. Damien was still pissed at Roman but running a kingdom was difficult. That was the only time Remus and Damien would talk to Roman.

Logan was balancing the chemicals in Thomas' brain so he stayed happy and emoted normally.

Virgil was out until further noticed, Paranoia took over.

Patton was being tortured until the Imagination kids come to an agreement.

Janus was sitting on the couch with Irra on his lap. Irra was shaking like crazy and couldn't calm down. He had a nightmare and went to cuddle with Janus.

Irra wasn't crying by any means he didn't want to wake anybody up and make Janus cry.

Janus was petting his hair and shushing him. "It's all okay." He repeated. He knew it wasn't true but he wanted to relax Irra.

It was bright next morning when the twins walked into the torture room where Damien was already waiting.

"What are you doing here?" Roman asked. "You have a break day."

Damien nodded. "I know. I'm choosing to watch him suffer."

Remus went over and hugged Damien from behind. "Please go break. You need sleep."

Damien sighed. "I know. I don't fucking trust him and I don't want something to happen. Plus I have to talk to Roman anyway." They said leaning into Remus' hug.

"Me?" Roman asked. "No the dirty homeless man that steals our bread! Of course you!" Damien said rolling their eyes.

Roman scratched the back of his head. "Right. Let's go talk. Remus watch him."

Remus let go of Damien. "Remus watch him." He mocked. Damien kissed Remus' head and pulled Roman out of the room.

Patton rolled his eyes. "Stupid." Remus stabbed Patton's leg causing Patton to scream. "Fuck off."

——With Roman——

"So what did you want?" Roman asked. "Okay about what do do with Patton." Damien said causing Roman to groan.

"Mother fucker- okay hear me out! You and Remus were Kind Romulus once upon a time ago. Correct?" Damien asked. "Well everyone refers to him as dead. He died and got replaced. I know it's not the same as killing a side and not splitting them but it's something. Logically you can't get rid of emotions, they will always be there. So Thomas will go a day of emotional shut down but a new side will replace Patton." Damien explained.

"I can make a back up plan with Logan to help Thomas if a new Morality and emotion doesn't show up. We can refine the method he is using now and making it automatic!" Damien said. "Think about this."

Roman sighed. "I- I will talk with Remus as you talk to Logan. If Remus agrees and Logan can fix what he's using now then....... I will concede to it and we can tell the others." He told the dragon.

Damien smiled and hugged Roman. "Thank you for understanding Roman. I will go talk to Logan." They said before leaving.

Roman sighed and went back to Remus.

Remus was gripping his hair, muttering for Patton to stop.

Patton was yelling at him and berating him.

Roman ran over to Remus and put his hands on Remus' shoulders.

Remus pushed Roman off and stumbled back. Remus was shaking. "DON'T TOUCH ME!" He yelled, causing himself to flinch.

Roman stepped back. Patton kept going. Roman got mad and turned to Patton. "I WILL KEEP YOUR MOUTH PERMANENTLY CLOSED IF YOU CAN'T CLOSE IT YOURSELF." Roman yelled. That caused Patton to stop.

Remus was still muttering things that didn't make any sense. Roman went over and stood in front of Remus. "Remus?" He called softly.

Remus shook his head. "Don't answer. Roman will yell again." Remus muttered. "Remus. It's Roman. Please breathe."

Remus was breathing hard. "Remus? Can I touch you?" Remus shook his head. "No you're gonna hit me! Patton told me that you're gonna hit me."

"Remus. I won't hit you. He said that to scare you." Roman said softly. Remus looked at Roman. "R-really?" He asked.

Roman nodded. "So can I touch you?" Remus shook his head. "No no touching. Get Para or mom."

"Why won't you accept my help?" Roman asked. "Because you hit me when you're mad I don't want you to touch me! Para and mom don't hurt me!" Remus said starting to cry.

"I won't hurt you Remus." Roman insisted. "Just get mom!" Remus demanded. "Please!"

"No! You don't need Janus I'm right here!" Roman hissed, raising his voice. Remus kept shaking. "Ro-Roman please get mom!"

Roman groaned and pushed him harshly against the cell wall. Remus hissed when his back hit the metal bars.

Roman realised what he did. He hurt his brother. Not that badly, but hurt him none the less. Remus gave a sad chuckle. "Told you. You hurt me. It's all you do." He said before sinking out.

Patton darkly chuckled. "Now let me down Roman. You've already made a mistake so make up for it and let your Padre down."

Roman walked over to Patton.
