TW: Loud noises? (Idk it's a irl trigger for me so I put it)

The trio calmed down, Irra kinda calmed down, before the twins left the cuddle pile and grabbed their weapons.

They went upstairs in caution. Janus snapped so everyone's rooms locked.

Irra clung to Para. "Want music?" Para asked. Irra nodded. Para summoned headphones and put them on Irra. The paranoid side put on one of his softer playlists for Irra. Irra smiled and relaxed. He let go of Para slightly.

Janus and Logan shared a glance. The twins have been quiet. The hallway isn't that long whatever is upstairs would've been caught already and it can't get into their rooms.

"Hey mom! Uhh we've got something." Remus called. Janus left the couch and went upstairs. The twins stood at were Patton's door used to be.

Half a door was there. The door frame was white as all the light sides had this. The half formed door was a mid blue. "I guess we are getting a new side. They should be here by tomorrow." Janus said, as this clearly isn't the first time he's seen a door forming.

"Let's go back downstairs. It'll be okay. Just leave it and we should get the new side at around or after breakfast." Janus informed before going back downstairs.

Para looked at Janus. "What was it mom?" He asked. "New door is what caused the noise. Should get him tomorrow." He said as he took his place on the couch and the twins came downstairs and took their places.

Irra had fallen asleep against Para, listening to music.

Everyone went back to cuddling and watching the movie.
A question lingered on their mind.

What will this new side be like?

-The next day-

Janus as always was the first up. He needed to be semi awake for the chaos that the twins brought in the morning. He looked at the door. Third of the way done forming. He went downstairs to start breakfast.

Each side came down in turn as Janus made breakfast.

First Logan, then the twins, Paranoia then Irra who was 3 today and having a hard time down the stairs. He had to get Remus to carry him down.

Breakfast went on as usual.

Remus making dirty jokes.
Roman trying to shut Remus up.
Paranoia not saying anything as he wasn't fully awake.
Logan reading as he had breakfast.
Janus bring a mom and trying to help Roman shut Remus up and help Irra not make a mess.
Irra making a mess anyway.

As Logan and Janus put the dishes away and clean the table. The twins plotted out their day and weeks schedule. Para trying to be angsty in the corner of the couch but Irra sat on his lap and poked him, causing Para to crack a smile. Irra giggled and poked Para's noise.

Another crash scared the same trio as it did the day before. Irra started crying but covered his mouth as not to make noise.

Para pulled Irra close and told him sweet nothings to calm down. Roman did the same to a shaken Remus.

When everyone was calm they went upstairs to see what was going on.

The new side stood in front of the door. He looked like all the others as they tend to do. He had a mid blue shirt on with a white sweater over it. He had Bermuda shorts on that was a darker bleached colour. He had white and grey almost knee high converse with knee high socks. To top it off he had a light cool gray and mid blue flower crown on.

Everyone looked at him curiously. Janus went over to him as it's usually him to meet the new sides. Logan turned to Remus. "Get Damien." He said. Remus sunk out.

Needless to say all the sides were ready to tear the new side if he did anything to Janus.

The new side looked at Janus and unlike every new side when they first Janus, he smiled and waved. The normal reaction was a look of fear or a jump back because scales. Janus understood that reaction.

"Welcome to Thomas' Mind Palace. I'm Deceit. I do have a proper name but that's told when I come to trust you." Janus introduced. "Now who are you and what do you represent?" He asked.

"Oh! Well I represent Emotion and Empathy. I'm Tommy! It's a pleasure to meet you Deceit!" He smiled as he held out his hand. Janus shook his hand. Their hands separated and Janus folded his hands behind his back.

"You should meet the other sides before one of us explains how we work." Janus said as he brought Tommy to the others.

"Paranoia. Where is Creativity?" Janus asked. "Grab-" Para was cut off my Remus rising up with Damien. "This better be good. I wa- Oh." Damien scanned Tommy. "A new one."

"Yes Dragon. A new side. Boys and enby. This is Tommy." Janus said. Tommy waved.

"Salutations. I am Logic, but you may call me Logan or Lo." Logan introduced. "I'm Paranoia. Everyone calls me Para. I have a counter part who will go by anxiety for now. You'll meet him at a later date." Para said, his eyes glowing a soft purple.

"Greetings! We are the Creativity Twins." The twins greeted in their usual grand way. "I am Roman." Roman smiled as he took Tommy's hand and kissed it. "Welcome."

Remus rolled his eyes. "I'm Remus. Welcome to the cluster fuck we call a family." Remus chuckled. Tommy giggled. "I hope I can be accepted into this cluster fuck of a family then." Remus internally cheered. "THIS ONE CAN SWEAR!" He thought.

Damien glared daggers into Tommy. "I'm Damien, using They/Them. A creature of the imagination. Watch what you do this them. I will not hesitate to kill." Damien said. They didn't care that it was not a proper introduction, but they frankly didn't care at this point. "They are a protecter of this mind." Remus added.

Tommy nodded. "I promise to not hurt them. You have my word."

Irra gave his infamous child stare at Tommy. Tommy caught on. "Who is this tiny one?" He asked. "This is Irrational Behaviour and Mild Insanity. His name is Irra." Janus informed.

Tommy nodded. "Hey buddy." He waved slightly. Irra kept staring. "He wants something. Irra words please darling." Janus said.

"H-hat." Irra stuttered. "Oh my flower crown." Tommy said with a chuckle. He summoned one that looked like his but with orange and not blue flowers. He placed it on Irra's head.

Irra giggled and clapped. Para chuckled. "He likes you." "Glad he likes me." Tommy smiled softly.

"Logan. Show Tommy how he will do his job and just around. If you feel he's ready, take him to meet Thomas. Please." Janus said. Logan nodded. "Let's go." Tommy nodded and left with Logan.

Damien glared at Tommy as he left. "I don't trust him mom." They mumbled. Janus hugged Damien. "I know Dammy. Just give him a chance." Damien nodded. "Okay. Can I at least follow them to make sure Logan is safe?" They asked.

Janus nodded. Damien became a small dragon and left the group.

Janus rolled his eyes. Irra made grabby hands at Janus. "Ma!" He squealed. Janus kissed his head and picked him up.

Roman leaned against Remus and used Remus like an armrest. "He seems fine." "Hmmm I guess. Something is setting me off. But I'm paranoia so I'm dismissing it for now." Para said as Remus side stepped and let Roman fall. "Bitch."

"He seems way less bubbly then Pat which is good. I can work with this one. He didn't seem scared when mom said Irra was Mild Insanity, so that's another point." Remus pointed out as Roman got up.

"Yeah. We will see his behaviour. If he's like Patton then we kill him immediately. Fair?" Janus asked.

Remus, Roman and Para nodded. "Fair"
