TW: Slightly Unsympathetic Roman, fighting, passing out

Third Person POV

-2 days later-

Janus groaned as Remus ran around. Tommy and Logan were out with Thomas. Virgil is in the Imagination taking a mental health day. Irra is still with Damien. Janus hasn't had time for a break.

Roman was sitting on the couch as he was grounded and Remus SOMEHOW got into the sugar bag. So now he's on a sugar high.

"Roman please help me catch your brother." Janus asked, basically begging. She hadn't eaten and the faster they catch Remus the faster she can eat something. Roman huffed and looked away. "Don't feel like it." He mumbled. He'd been denying doing favours for Janus all day.

Janus groaned and went after the dark twin. Roman just sat and watched.

Janus finally caught Remus and dragged him into the living room. "Roman can you entertain Remus while I change, grab my work and grab something to snack on? He got mud on me and I have things to do." She asked. Roman shook his head and went back to listening to music.

Janus groaned. She was beyond frustrated. Her snake eye glowed again, Roman's eyes glowed as well. "Roman you will come entertain your brother while I change." She said slyly.

Roman nodded and turned off his music. He went over and took Remus from Janus. Janus looked at Remus. "Behave." She hissed before leaving.

Janus came downstairs to see the twins talking on the couch. Roman still being controlled by Janus. Janus let Roman go and when Roman came back to reality he was pissed.

"You fucking snake!" Roman yelled. "Yes I am." Janus chuckled as she made coffee. "You controlled me again!" Roman hissed. Janus looked at Roman with a side glance. "Yes. What of it?"

Roman went over. "You can't do that! It's wrong you evil bitch!" He yelled. Remus flinched was became annoyed with Roman. He stood up. "You're the one being a bitch!" The duke hissed.

"Not I'm not!" Roman insisted. The twins summoned their weapons. "Put them down b-" Roman already swung before Janus could finish.

She went over to the twins and got a near miss from both weapons. "ENOUGH!" She yelled, both twins stopping. "I am going to regret this." She thought.

Janus' eye glowed and the twins eyes glowed. "Roman will sit on the steps and Remus will sit at the table, both facing the wall!" She hissed. The pair nodded and sat in their spots.

Janus sat on the couch and sighed. She had to keep using her magic or they are gonna start fighting again.

Janus laid on the couch and was already getting a headache. She started flickering between herself and the genderbend version of the twins. "I'm fine and strong. I'm fine and strong." She repeated over and over again.

Janus sighed and got up. She had things to get done.

Tommy and Logan rose up.

Both twins unmoved from their spot. Janus was in the kitchen flickering like fucking crazy and holding onto the counter for balance.

"Janny?" Tommy called as Logan went over. "Yes dear?" Janus called back. Logan took Janus away from the counter and held her. "Janus what happened?" Logan asked.

"Remus started running around on a sugar rush and I had to catch him alone because Roman wouldn't help. When I caught Remus I asked Roman to watch him so I can change because my sweater was covered in mud. Roman said no so I controlled him for a bit so I could change. When I let him go after he wasn't happy. The twins started fighting so I took control of them both. They've been there for the past 3... uh more like 4-5 ish hours." Janus explained.

"Janus you have to let them go and go rest." Tommy told her. Janus pushed herself away from Logan and shook her head. The room spun for a second and Janus leaned against the counter. "They will fight again."

"We can deal with them." Tommy said pushing the hair out of her face. "No no no. I have to keep the twins calm because they've been at each other's throats for a while." Janus dismissed as she went back to the living room.

"What do we do?" Tommy asked Logan turning to face him. "I don't know! She's not going to listen to us. Everything has been getting to her. She needs to rest but she won't willingly." Logan said, rubbing his temples trying to think.

They pair started discussing different plans. They didn't release that the twins weren't being controlled anymore. They were confused and turned to face each other.

"MOM!" Remus yelled as he scrambled over to a passed out Janus, who's stopped flickering. Roman, Tommy and Logan ran over. "Can somebody explain what happened?" Roman asked.

Tommy explained what happened while Logan picked up Janus and brought her upstairs to rest.

Remus felt bad. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for Jan to get hurt. I didn't want her to." He mumbled. Tommy pet his hair. "Hey it's okay. Tell her that when she wakes up okay?" Remus nodded.

Roman didn't say anything. "I probably should've helped." He thought. "I'm the reason Jan was pushed to her limits. I'm testing them."
