It's been three days. Today I feel not so miserable, so I meet up with Summer to skate around. The boys are in college, so I asked her.

It's a bit windy, but bearable. We meet down my street. When I see her, the first thing that catches my attention is her outfit: cargo pants, vans, white long-sleeved T-shirt under a Nirvana's T-shirt and a beanie. I have to admit that I like it. In my case I'm wearing jeans, white T-shirt and black Converse.

We skate without a determined destination, just going here and there. She asks for playing some music from her phone, which I don't mind, so I let to surprise me what kind of artists she listens to. Well, I guess one is Nirvana, unless she wears that T-shirt just for fashion.

"Do you like Clairo?" She asks. Yes, of course I know about her, she has some lit songs. To be honest, it fits her.

"I do."

She smiles and the first song sounds.

"What more artists you have in the playlists?" I now ask for curiosity.

"Lil Peep, Billie Eilish, Nirvana, MGK, Tyler The Creator..., that stuff."

"Cool."

About an hour later, my feet start to hurt. This is what I hate the most about skating; it spoils the fun.

"Wanna rest some minutes?" I notice a bench close to us. She nods and we sit there. The music keeps playing and Summer takes advantage of the break and drinks water. Shit, I forgot my bottle. "Can I borrow yours?"

Summer passes me her canteen without hesitation. Well, she could be scrupulous but gladly it isn't the case.

I didn't know I was really thirsty until I took the first sip. I swallow down almost the whole bottle, even I get my neck and part of the T-shirt wet because of my strong longing.

"I hope you didn't want more." I chuckle. She does a quick glance at my wet T-shirt as she takes the canteen back.

"Don't worry, I'll refill it at the first fountain I find."

My feet pain is remaining, however I've got comfortable and I wanna stay a bit more. The sun is shining bright, but we're in the shade of a tree behind us. The wind keeps blowing, swaying our hair with gentle.

"Two friends, sitting in a bench..." I start saying.

"Yup." She chuckles at the obvious phrase. I smirk; she doesn't know I like to joke around:

"They might kiss."

Instantly she turns her head and looks at me surprised, her eyes wide open - The exact reaction I knew she would have.

"What-?"

I laugh.

"Chill, I'm messing you." She then laughs. "Shall we continue our ride?" I suggest seconds after.

"Sure."

"Wait, my house is at the next street on the right."

We skated for almost another hour, still without a determined destination. Well, maybe we reached it.

"Now I'm curious to see how it's like."

She turns right, which means we're actually going to her house.

"Well, I already know yours, so it's fair enough to take advantage of this coincidence and show you my place."

She stops in front of a white two-floor chalet. Two palm trees decorate the front yard. It's smaller than mine's, but it looks big enough anyway.

"Is your friend at home?" I ask once we go walk to the interior. Inside looks like the house is bigger. Open concept, white walls, pale wood floor and paintings and plants as the most significant decorations.
