I realize I fell asleep for the second time in the day the moment I open my eyes. And again on Summer's bed. But, for the first time, she's right next to me, wrapped in my arms like a spoon. I don't remember when I changed to this position, so I guess that it was probably while I was asleep.

Although I'm pretty comfortable like this, I instantly face to the opposite side of the bed. Yes, we had sex and stuff, but I don't know why it felt a little weird for me waking up hugging another person, like I wouldn't have expected to be this quick to develop a special affection for a girl.

Summer moves and I check over my shoulder if she's also awake. Her eyes are closed, but still I ask:

"You awake?" I murmur and I face to her again.

"Mm-hmm."

"I probably should go. Now for real." I chuckle, and I touch her hair.

"Probably..., yeah."

Less lazy than this morning, I pick my clothes and I put them on. I check my phone and I see it's 6 p.m. I've been in this house for literally twelve hours straight.

While I'm tying my shoes, Summer puts her T-shirt on sitting in bed.

"What a day." She rubs her eyes and stretches her back. I chuckle one more time.

"Feeling good?"

"Never better." She smiles and I return the smile. Before I go, I check I have everything: cell phone, keys... Molly. Yep, it's in the pocket. I should hide the drug much safer when I get back to my room.

"How's that you have such drug kept that casual in your pants?"

"Great question. How's that you had a bottle of vodka in a minifridge?" I fire back playful, and I stand up. She scoffs.

I walk across the bedroom and I stop at the doorframe.

"See you later, friend." I can see her eyes rolling a brief second before I leave.

Suddenly, I come across Summer's roommate at the stairs.

"Oh, finally you leaving."

"Jealous?" I annoy her.

"Give me a break."

"Sweetie, if you're asking for a threesome, just say it."

She opens widely her eyes.

"Fuck off!"

I laugh as I end my way at the stairs.

Back home, I hear Justin's voice from the living room:

"Where the fuck you been?"

I walk to the kitchen and I see him and Jordan playing play sitting on the couch.

"Does it matter?" I answer as I open the fridge. I'm hungry for some noodles, and luckily there are.

"Just asking, bro."

I eat the noodles while I watch them playing and commenting here and there. Then I go upstairs to my room. But before reaching it, I get a phone call. It's my mother. I have a good relationship with her, but still it surprised me.

"Mum?" I expect asking me how my life's going and that stuff, however...

"Vinnie." Her tone is weak, as if she's been crying recently.

"Mum, what's wrong?" I ask impatient.

"It's your brother..., he's back."
