I see Jordan at the entrance on the other side of the fence. Pretty much the majority of the people that were earlier have already left.

I leave the skate near him and I look around, searching for Kaleb.

"He was just right there." Jordan explains, pointing to the other side of the skatepark.

I grunt and start walking where he said, hoping he didn't walk too far away.

He isn't inside the skatepark, so I go to the grass behind it, outside the fence, and where is much more darker. I hear a few people talking here and there, but no one's Kaleb's voice. But then I recognize him near a tree and with two more guys, all three smoking a joint. I can literally smell it from very far and it's disgusting.

"Kaleb!" I call him out loud, catching their attention. Did I fucking see him smiling?

"Brother!" He says back. He's making my blood boil, and I'm trying the hardest to not beat the shit outta him.

I clearly don't know what fucking do next, so I just stand there. The fact that Kaleb came here caught me so off-guard.

"You want some?" One of the strangers asks me, handing me his joint.

"Fuck, no." I answer. I never tried one and I know I never will. I may be tempt by some drugs if I'm on a very low state, but never smoking.

"Whatever." The guy shrugs and gives it another drag.

"So we meet again." Kaleb starts talking.

"Can you ask your friends to leave? We need to talk, in private."

"They are very good friends of mine, they stay."

So he needs his friends around like bodyguards so that I contain myself in case I want to punch him or what? Pathetic. I will not hold me back if he gets me to the edge.

"Why are you in L.A?" I begin.

"Because I wanted to."

"I'm not stupid. Try to be more specific."

"Why you care so much? Since I left years ago  you didn't wanna talk to me ever."

"Well, I wouldn't expect you to come back, and even less that you were gonna appear at mum's house."

He scoffs and gives the joint a drag.

"I'm not leaving until you tell me the whole truth."

"Okay, then wait seated." He mocks.

I clench my jaw and fists. Breathe in, breathe out.

"Dude, tell him, what's the worst thing he could do. He doesn't seem like someone that kiss and tell."

"No, he doesn't. But I don't want him sneaking into my life with the excuse that he's my older brother."

"Fuck off, I don't care what the fuck you do with your life. I just don't want you fucking around mother and hurting her more."

"That's a lot of fucks." The other guy speaks. He seems the highest out of the three.

"Where are you living?"

"I'm pretty much on the streets."

"Where the fuck you sleep." I ask again. He'd be really selfish if he's staying at mom's house.

"With them. We just rented a place."

He sounds so sus. I can't tell what it is yet, but he keeps giving me bad vibes. He's involved in something, and my instinct rarely fails.

"Show me." I say.

"The house?"

"Yeah. Is there something wrong?"

"Not at all." He smiles. "We can go right now."
