As this is a shorter chapter, I'll upload another one in a few days.
I wake up still at daylight. I don't look the time but I guess it's around five. My arm is around Summer's body, who I think is still sleeping.
After the shower, we felt like taking a nap, and honestly I've rested better this two hours than previous nights.
I kiss her neck with my eyes closed, and I hear her exhaling, probably awakening.
"Did I wake you up?" I murmur, kissing once more.
Summer moves a little but doesn't answer. I procede to squeeze her belly and now I hear a groan.
"That hurt." She complains.
"Sorry not sorry; you're like a teddy bear. And I'll get bored if I'm the only one awake."
"A teddy bear, huh?" And she stands sit, moving my arm away.
"That's not fair." I whine, grabbing her tee. Actually it's mine, but whatever, it fits her better. I try to make her lie down again, but she resists.
"I can't stay too long."
"You were very asleep just seconds ago."
"I remembered I wanted to do something today."
"Can I know?"
Summer rolls her eyes.
"It's just going downtown to shop a few things."
"I'm going."
"What, why?"
"Why not?" I widen my lips in a smile.
"Whatever, but get dressed quickly, or else the shop will close before we even leave."
"Yes ma'am." I tease her, and she scoffs with a laugh.
We decided go skating, so Summer borrowed Jordan's skate. He was okay with it. Plus, the second option would have been walking as I don't have a car yet, so it was the fastest choice.
I don't even know where we're going, so I just follow Summer, but not without passing her here and there just to tease her.
We head the city in less time than I expected. I kinda have a love hate relationship with skating in town, because on the one hand is cool skating on the road or the street just by the vibes but, on the other hand, it's annoying having to dodge the people.
Anyway, we skate mostly the road and sometimes Summer and I take the risk to hold onto the back of a car for more speed. I almost get caught, but I've been able to duck without being seen.
At a red light we change to the sidewalk and, not much more further, Summer hops off from the skate and stops, so I do so. She points the shop in front of us with the head.
"It's here." And she enters, but I stay stand watching the inside.
It's the skate shop where I work on. Shit.
