As Nolan promised, we went to a tattoo studio. I already have around twenty tats distributed on my left arm, hands, chest and back (yes, I love tattoos). None of them have a specific meaning, I just like how they look on my body. And now I have a new one, a barbed wire around my right wrist. I chose it because it looks like a cool bracelet. Nolan, unlike me, only has three tats on his right arm, and now he added a big rose on his hand. Typical but dope.

Back home I take off my T-shirt and lie down on the bed the moment I enter in my bedroom. I'm not a very nap person, but today I feel like sleeping some hours until the evening.

But before closing my eyes and getting some rest, I waste time on my phone reading recent notifications, however i don't respond to any of them because I'm too lazy for that now. I open Instagram and I see that Summer has posted a story. We exchanged our accounts some days ago, but I haven't found time yet to see her posts, just for curiosity. She only has three posts, all of them on the street and showing her face to the camera.

Out of the sudden I want to ask her about the party at the skatepark, when ironically i don't want to go. Maybe she didn't told me anything about it because she isn't willing to go either.

Anyways, I realize that I just dm her about it:

I heard about a hangout at the skatepark this Friday.

I close the app and block the iPhone. Alright, time to sleep. I will see her reply later, although I wasn't planning to text her.

I put the phone on the bedside table and then turn my body around, facing the other side of the room. I shut my eyes, but it doesn't last long, because minutes later my cell phone vibrates. Fuck, I forgot to turn on the silence mode. I sigh and close my eyes again, not minding. It's probably a message, so it's not like it'll vibrating all day.

However, it vibrates multiple times, which it irritates me, and so I turn my body again to get the phone. I see that not only it was Summer texting, but also Justin. He wants me to go downstairs to help him with a video game, but obviously I'm not going. Summer, on the other hand, texted this:

Yes! Wanna facetime and I tell you the details?

So now I have to choose whether to sleep like I was meant to do or change plans and facetime with Summer.

I tap the facetime button on the screen.

And she answers in 4 tones.

"Hey!" Summer waves with a smile. She's at her bedroom, sitting in the chair. She's hand-free, so I imagine her phone is laying against the wall on the desk.

"Hi." I greet back. with a tired voice, but I manage to smile a bit, too. I'm holding the phone above my head, so her sight of me is just my face looking up.

"I'm so intrigued by how did you find out about that."

I chuckle and run a hand through my hair.

"I'm a clairvoyant. Now you know." I joke, and she laughs. Then I tell her that it was two of her friends that came to the skate shop that I work in.

"Wait!, you work there?" She sounds pretty surprised.

"Umm, I just told you." I continue in a playful tone.

"I used to go there very often a while ago." She explains. "Guess I'll have to visit you one day."

"No, uh uh, please don't." I say. This was the reason why I didn't want her to know. But, I mean, I'm not gonna forbid her either.

"Just kidding." She chuckles. "About the skatepark plan, me and my friends thought the other day about inviting people we know, friends of friends and just chill after class."

Great, how I'm gonna tell her now that I'm not in the mood for going? She looks very enthusiast about it, so it's ridiculous to think that she doesn't want to join. But in the end I let her know the truth.

"I don't believe you." That's her answer.

"It's been rough recently." I explain.

"Then more reasons to come by and distress."

I scrunch my nose in disbelief.

"You are the first skater that I know that says no to a skating plan." She continues. I'm getting the feeling that she's not accepting a no for answer.

"Summer..."

"Vinnie..." She imitates me. I sigh and roll my eyes and she does the same thing after.

"Are we kids now or what?"

"Oh, so you are a total grown up, mr..."

I laugh.

"Well, well, well, you can't finish your sentence  because you don't now my last name. What a pity, right?." I bug her, and she frowns like a child that whose favorite stuffed animal has been confiscated.

"Look, I'm Vinnie and I'm so funny." She mocks with a pitch voice.

"Hey!! That's. Not. Me. At all." I frown my lips and punch the phone camera at each word. I make her laugh.

"What's your last name?" She asks.

"Try to guess it."

"Yeah, like if I only had a few options." She says sarcastically.

"It starts with h." I'm only gonna say that hint. She hums while thinking.

"Harris?, Henderson?"

"Not close at all."

"C'mon, it's very hard!"

I smile but I don't give her what she wants... just for some seconds.

"Hacker." I finally answer.

"Vinnie Hacker..., interesting."

"Are you already coming up with baby names that fits with it?"

"What the..." She widens her eyes and furrow the brows in horror.

I cackle at her reaction.

"Just kidding." I try to imitate her voice.

"Fuck you." She puts her middle finger up to the camera.

"I'm tired, I should sleep." I say after I managed to stop laughing.

"But you didn't confirmed yet that you are coming at the skatepark this Friday!"

"I know. 'Cause I said I'm not going." I repeat like it's too obvious to understand. Which it is. "Bye Summer."

"Vinnie, don't you dare to hang up."

I wink at her and then tap de red button to hang up. I can imagine her disappointed face.

Maybe, I text her. She sees the message but doesn't reply.

Before finally going to sleep I watch her story. It's a mirror selfie, nothing special, however I stare for a while at her smile. I let out a tiny smile and turn off the phone. "Maybe." I mutter.
