TRIAL 4
PRE SCHOOL
CANDACE thought that going to school is a bad idea, but her opinion changed over a week when she saw her father picking her up after her class, and they will go to his office and treat her lunch. Sometimes, if it's not her father, it will be her mom and she'll play around her mom's small parlor until it's already time to go home.
It excites her every day. She might be bored the whole duration inside the nursery home along with the kids, and with the noise of one of her classmates, Bryson—she endured everything because the moment her classes are done, her parents are waiting for her, and that's all she wants.
Her parents' time.
"Okay class!" Her teacher clasped her hands together. "Did you get it?"
She looked at her own pad paper, and then to the black board. Her teacher is teaching them how to write their names. Her mom and dad taught her before she learned how to draw. Basic lang sa kaniya.
"Teacher! Teacher!" Umalingaw-ngaw na naman ang boses ni Bryson.
"Yes, Bryson?"
"Tama po itoooo?"
"Ang sip-sip. Iche-check naman 'yan." Bulong niya habang nagsimula ulit siyang magsulat. This time, it's her parents name.
"Yehey! May star ako!"
Not again.
Ewan ba niya.
They're so immature!
Five years old na kami, hindi three!
She just focused her attention on her paper until her teacher checked hers. Kahit siya ay natatakan ng very good na star. Minutes had passed, and their teacher let them play habang siya ay walang ginawa kung hindi ang dumukot ng cookies na nasa bag niya. She pulled out her drawing pad out of her bag, and started to draw.
"Uy, si oggie!" May pasakdol na umupo sa tabi niya.
Bryson.
"Uy, Candace. Candace pangalan mo di'ba? Di'ba?"
Sinilip niya lang ng tingin si Bryson.
"Di'ba? Di'ba?" tanong ulit nito.
Kairita!
Bumuntong hininga siya. "Oo."
"Hmmm, may papel ka ba riyan? Gusto ko rin mag-drawing eh! Tsaka para may kasama ka. Mag-isa ka lang dito. Di ka ba nababagot?"
"Hindi." Sagot niya.
"Ganun? Gusto mo laro tayo?
