BRYSON 9

"Candace, kain ka pa iha..." Ani ni Tita Becca. Bryson's mom. Tumango na lang si Candace habang kumakain. It's early in the morning and she's at Bryson's house and of course, with Macey again to have a breakfast. Aside from a good food, they're here because of Baby Bella. Arrow on the other hand didn't come with them. Nasa ibang bansa pa kasi ito kasama ang mga magulang.

"Tita, gusto mong kumain ng marami 'yan?" Macey giggled. "Lapagan mo ng Takoyaki..."

She blanky looked at Macey before she sipped her soup. Macey just made a peace sign before eating again. 

"Sandali, ang aga niyo ah. Suot niyo na agad 'yung skirt niyo, baka marumihan 'yan kay Bella mamaya." Tita Becca said when she noticed their clothes.

She just shrugged. Actually, Macey just mimicked what she did. Dinala niya na lang ang coat at blouse niya habang naka-suot siya ng itim na v-neck shirt papunta kina Bryson. Isusuot na lang niya ang blouse and coat niya kapag aalis na sila. She go out of their house even it's just 6 in the morning to avoid her parents, and while walking to Bryson's house, Macey saw her on their terrace kaya hinintay niya muna itong mag-ayos bago sila dumiretso kina Bryson.

"Okay lang po tita, si Bryson pala?" Macey asked again. Well, she's not as talkative as Macey so all she did was to eat and listen while Macey did the talking. Sanay naman na ang mommy ni Bryson sa kaniya—sa kanila. Tita Becca looks amazed even.

"Pababa na siguro 'yon. Busy kay Bella e. Silang dalawa ng papa niya..." sagot nito.

It wasn't that long when Bryson went down stairs, carrying Bella carefully. He has a soft smile on his face, wearing his pants and maroon shirt. It was their campaign shirt, unlike them na naka-uniform.

"Oh anak, kain na." tawag ni tita Becca kay Bryson. She took Bella from Bryson and cooed the baby. Sumunod na bumaba ang daddy ni Bryson na mukhang paalis na at nagmamadali.  Umupo sa tabi niya ang binata at pinisil ang pisngi niya.

"Good Morning, robot." Bryson greeted her.

"Ako Bry, 'di mo babatiin?" Macey asked, almost choking on her laughter.

"Kabati-bati ka ba?" Bryson asked back.

"Tita 'yung anak mo oh!" Sumbong kaagad ni Macey. "Bella, ampangit ng kuya mo, baby Bella..."

Bryson just laughed and started to eat. Siya naman ay nanatili lang na naka-tingin kay Bryson. He looks fresh on his maroon campaign shirt, however he looks stressed and lack of sleep as he started to eat.

"Ano oras start ng enrollment?" She asked all of sudden.

"11AM, but we still have to prepare. May meeting kami, and we have to fix some bugs and issues para mabilis lang ang daloy ng enrollment." Bryson answered.

"What time?" she asked again.

"I'll leave at 8. Sunod na lang kayo ng mga 10 doon. Ire-reserve ko ang slot niyo."

Hindi na siya sumagot at tumingin na lang kay baby Bella na tuwang tuwa sa ginagawa ni Macey. Her best friend is scared to carry baby Bella so Macey was just making faces to play. Tuwang tuwa naman ang sanggol sa ginagawa.

"Bryson! Pwede bang h'wag na lang kaming pumunta? Ikaw na lang mag-enroll sa amin!" Macey asked as if it was the brightest idea she ever thought of.

"Baliw, hindi." Bryson answered.

"Dali na! Officer ka naman!"

"Macey, hindi ako corrupt na politician ng school para gawin ang kompadre system." Sagot ni Bryson.
