Model

Bumibigat ang paghinga ko.

"Nothing," I just said and proceeded on putting my stuff inside the box.

Maybe I feel bad because I don't want to leave this room... If Claire wants it, wala naman din akong magagawa. I'm not a part of the Star Sapphire Class anymore.

"Jax!" sigaw ni Claire kaya naman napalingon agad ako sa may pintuan at nakitang nandoon na si Jax.

He waived at me right away.

"Dito na ako magka-kwarto pagkaalis ni Cali," dagdag niya pa.

Tumango lang si Jax at mabilis na pumunta sa akin para kunin iyong bitbit kong kahon.

He smiled at me. "Tulungan na kita..."

"Thank you," I said and got my maleta next.

Ilang saglit pa ay tumunog na ang bell. That means it's lunch already.

"Breaktime na. Let's go..." Claire said.

I'm about to put my clothes down but then I suddenly remembered that my lunch time is different since I'm in Class B now.

"Cali, mamaya pa ang Class B. Una na kami ni Jax..." her voice was so sweet but why do I feel bad about it?

Tumango ako. "Okay..."

I heard Jaxith's heavy sigh. "Antayin kita sa cafeteria," aniya at ngumiti.

Muli akong tumango at ngumiti rin sa kanya.

Our lunch break overlaps. Mauuna lang ng 30 minutes ang Class A tapos ay susunod na rin ang Class B. Kaya may 30 minutes na magkakasabay ang dalawang class.

Naayos ko na ang lahat ng damit ko nang tumunog na ang second bell. That means pwede na rin mag-break ang Class B.

Mag-isa akong pumunta sa cafeteria at nang makita ko ang Star Sapphire Class na magkakasamang kumain at wala ako, I won't deny that it pains me.

Looking at them makes my heart sad. How I wish I was there... With them.

I went ahead to fall in line and get a food. Habang nasa pila, iniisip ko kung saan ako uupo. I was wondering around and saw the Class B students all in one table. Should I sit there? Am I even welcome? Pero kung hindi ako roon uupo, saan naman ako kakain? I can't believe that eating lunch will be this hard! Gosh!

"Cal!" Jax called.

Dahil madadaanan ko naman talaga ang table ng Star Sapphire Class para makapunta sa table ng Class B, lumapit na ako roon sa table nila.

Agad kong nakita ang pag-iba ng mukha ni Claire na siyang katabi ni Jax.

"Dito ka na kumain," aniya.

I looked at Xuri... Then I looked at Gelo. Then I immediately felt like I wasn't welcome there anymore.

Nakangiti akong umiling. "Hindi pwede..." I told Jax. "I should be with Class B."

Tuluyan na akong naglakad palayo roon. On my peripheral vision, Jax was still standing when I left.

"Cali!" Chance called and waived his hand. "Tara."

I suddenly want to cry at the very moment. I just felt so relieved. Akala ko kasi kakain na ako sa rest room.

Chance saved me a seat along with his friends. Puro lalaki nga lang. The girls were all in the other side and they seem very distant. Ayaw ko namang ipagsiksikan ang sarili ko kung hindi naman nila ako gusto.
