Chapter 29
Boyfriend
"Here," Jax handed me my books.
Agad ko namang kinuha ang mga iyon. "T-Thanks..."
Pareho kaming natahimik at wala nang masabi sa isa't-isa. The awkward silence embraced us.
"Oy, kamote... Ni-recruit recruit mo 'ko tapos iiwan-iwan mo lang ako?!" I heard a baritone coming from the back.
I saw a tall guy, almost the same with Jaxith's height. His skin is fair and his jaw is very prominent.
"A-Ah... Cali, si Lancer. Kaibigan ko sa Garnet Academy," saad ni Jax. "Lancer, si Cali, kapatid ni Kairon."
Oh, yes. Of course, kilala nila si Kuya.
The Lancer guy offered his hand, so I took it and shook hands with him.
"Hi..." I greeted shyly.
His eyes were too dark, everyone will be intimidated by it. And he isn't very friendly looking!
"Hi rin," he said in a low tone.
"T-Teka... Ba't ang tagal!" reklamo ni Jax sabay hinila iyong kamay ni Lancer palayo.
Anong ginagawa niya?
Lancer suddenly smirked. "Kaya pala gustong bumalik..."
"Huh?" I asked confused.
Tinakpan na ni Jax iyong bibig ni Lancer. "Maling desisyon atang inaya kita... Tara na sa hall!"
My heart keeps on beating so fast and before it could even explode, I just walked on a separate way. Hindi na ako sumabay sa kanila.
Hinanap ko kung nasaan sina Xuri. They were seated at the right wing.
"Where's Cat?" I asked Theo as I seated beside him and Xuri.
Si Theo, Xuri, Gelo, Grant, at Chance pa lang ang nandito.
"Malapit na rin siguro?" Theo assumed.
"Hindi ko nga alam do'n kay Cathaline! Two weeks na ngang walang paramdam sa gc ang gaga," sabi naman ni Xuri.
"Truelagen!" si Gelo naman.
Pansin ko nga rin iyon... I just thought that maybe she's busy. I hope she's near already! Sayang ang points pag na-late!
"Si Jax kaya nasaan na?" Theo suddenly asked.
The mere mention of his name makes my heart flutter. I don't even know why. Like as if we'll magically be close friends again... Hindi naman. Ayoko.
"Babalik na siya?!" Xuri shouted.
Grant gave me a look like he is worried of something... Or baka nang-aasar lang.
"Oo, 'di ba nag-post siya sa fb!" si Gelo iyon.
My forehead creased. I'm not updated to his fb account anymore. The last time I checked, he deactivated. So, I unfriended him.
Xuri covered her mouth. "Oh! Kaya pala may nasasagap akong chismis!"
"Spill the tea, sis!" si Chance iyon na pumagitna pa sa amin ni Xuri.
He's actually a very carefree person. What comes, comes. Ganoon lang siya. He's easy to be with din.
"Ito, tignan n'yo." Xuri showed her phone to us.
