Self-Defense
He hugged me really tight, but he was also very careful. Like he knew that he was the reason of my tears, so he didn't want to make me cry even more.
Agad kaming napabitaw sa isa't-isa nang biglang may staff na dumating at sinusundo na kami.
Kumunot ang noo ko. "Tapos na po ba ang oras namin?" I asked.
Mabilis na umiling iyong staff. "Hindi po. Nanuntok po iyong isang kasama ninyo, eh. Bawal po 'yon."
My mouth was left wide opened. Nanuntok? Sino?!
Lumabas kami ni Jax nang sabay at nakita namin si Xuri, Gelo, at Chance sa labas.
"Ba't mo kasi sinuntok?!" si Xuriella iyon.
"Hindi ko nga sinasadya! Nagulat ako! Bigla ba namang lumabas tapos may itak na hawak, alangang magtatalon ako sa tuwa!" giit naman ni Chance.
Napailing na lang ako. Bakit pa ako nagtaka? Of course, si Chance ang nanuntok! Alangan namang si Gelo o kaya si Grant?
Speaking of Grant, nasaan na kaya iyon?
Chance was apologizing and wanted to compensate the staff when Grant and Blythe came out together.
"Blaze, why would you leave me alone? Buti na lang Grab was there!" Blythe said and ran to her cousin.
Yes. Cousin.
"S-Sinong Grab?" nagtatakang tanong ni Jax.
Blythe pointed on Grant who looked like he was annoyed. Oh my God.
I went to Grant right away and nudged him. "Uy, Grab Saavedra!"
"Shut up," Grant said and started being a snob for the rest of the day.
Excited ako na pumasok. Malinaw na ang lahat ngayon at sa tingin ko naman ay okay na kami ni Jax. We're not together anymore, but at least I could talk to him.
Plus, today is one of the vacant days in the week so it was filled with an extracurricular. Self-defense class ang para sa araw na ito kaya nakaka-excite lalo! Pwede naman akong mag-participate, pero may mga stunts siguro na mag-sisit out ako because it might be too risky for me.
I was scrolling to my phone when I saw a post from Jax on facebook. When did he even start to use his account again?
Jax Pereira updated his status: i.w.y.f.e.w.w.n.t.
It was the first time he posted again after two years. I don't even understand his status. What's the ibigsabihin of that ba?
Paglabas sa kuwarto ay saktong-sakto ang paglabas din ni Jax. I awkwardly waived at him. He was about to waive back when Gelo appeared.
"Teka nga, Master Sergeant! Malapit ba talaga sa elevator ang gusto mo kaya ka nakipagpalit?!" Naningkit ang mga mata ni Gelo.
Nauna na si Jax at naiwan naman kami ni Gelo habang inaantay si Xuri.
"Okay na kayo? Kayo na ulit?" sunod-sunod niyang tanong sabay umangkla sa akin.
He was so excited while waiting for my answer.
Umiling ako. "Hindi pero bati na kami."
Lumabas na rin ng kuwarto si Xuri pero bakas ang pagkairita ni Angelo Darius.
