Rules
"Let's break-up because?" Jax asked with a tone like what I've said is not believable at all.
Sinamaan ko lang siya ng tingin.
"Mama mo break..." mahinang sabi niya na parang nagtatampo at sinubukang abutin ako.
Hindi ko mapigilan na hindi matawa.
I didn't really mean it, of course. I'm just frustrated, you know?
"Tignan mo 'to... Halika nga rito." He finally reached me and enveloped me in a hug.
"Walang mag-bebreak. Kahit kailan," pinal niyang sabi.
"Kahit kailan?" I asked and hugged him back.
"Kahit kailan," he repeated in a much softer voice.
Kumalas siya sa yakap at kinuha 'yong phone niya. He immediately handed it to me.
"What is it about?" I asked starring at the notes app.
Jax clicked the note with 'Rules' on the title. With just the first few words, I lost it. Biting my lower lip, I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks.
Parang sasabog ang puso ko.
RULES:
1. Pasayahin lagi si Calixta
2. Hindi hahayaang umiiyak si Calixta
3. Laging nandiyan para kay Calixta
4. Intidihin si Kuya Kairon para kay Calixta
5. Suyuin si Calixta kahit anong mangyari
6.Gawin ang lahat para lang kay Calixta
7. Mahalin ng higit pa sa lahat ng bagay si Calixta
8. Tuparin ang mga pangarap kasama si Calixta
9. Pag nakikipaghiwalay si Calixta, hindi paniniwalaan
10. Si Calixta lang hanggang dulo
I can feel the water in my eyes getting heavier. My chest felt tight because of too much happiness.
Napahawak ako sa aking dibdib. I was so overwhelmed that it left me speechless. Is Jax Pereira even real? Because he is a dream come true. My dream come true.
He smiled and held both of my elbows. "Rule Number 9, pag nakikipaghiwalay si Calixta, hindi paniniwalaan."
Jax slowly bowed his head and landed a soft kiss on my forehead. My cheeks plushed and all the paru-paro were suddenly in my stomach.
There's no reason for us to break up. Not now, not ever.
My white blazer was ripped. Buti na lang din at nabigyan na ako ng bagong blazer. The new blazer is color black, same with other classes. Ngayon, hindi na talaga ako parte ng Star Sapphire Class.
Chance and all of his tropa were beside me simula umaga hanggang ngayong mag-be-break time na.
"Pinagtritripan n'yo ba ako?" bulong ko kay Chance.
Nakadikit talaga sa akin na para akong mawawala!
"Hindi, ah! Guard mo lang kami!" sagot ni Chance.
My forehead creased. "Huh? Guard?"
"Ayaw lang namin na may lalapit sa 'yong masasamang espiritu!" hirit ni Paulo.
