We all left the pizza place and went to the subway. Me and Mina became friends as if nothing happened between us, making the boys surprised. Javi and Nam kept on nudging me as I brushed them away, annoyed that they kept bugging me. I told Mina to go first as the two boys wanted to say something. Mina nodded and held onto Yuzuru's arm. I mentally sighed at the sight but I shook my head, not wanting to feel bad. I shifted my attention towards the two boys.

"Hey! How are you guys 'okay'?" Nam whispered-shouted as he pulled me back with Javi.

Yuzuru and Mina walked ahead of us.

"We talked it out, Nam." I said, trying to make them feel at ease.

Javi and Nam looked unsure but shrugged.

"If you say so, comrade. Just know, we'll be here." He said patting my back.

"Yeah, Nat! If anyone tries to hurt you, we're here!" Nam shouted, posing as if he's superman, only to be smacked behind the head by Javi.

I got confused and nodded, giggling at the two guys.

Javi and Nam became my brothers. Even though I'm new here, they haven't done anything funny to me, nor have I seen them do anything funny except for the fact that they're born crackheads. I chuckled at thought making the four look at me. I got embarrassed and waved my hands, saying it was nothing. They all shrugged and continued walking.

I don't want to ruin anything but if Yuzuru keeps on behaving like this, I don't know what I'll do.

We all said our goodbyes to each other and separated our ways. Mina, Yuzuru and I were together as Javi and Nam went the other way. I have my bicycle beside me as we were walking. We decided to drop Mina off at the diner before to our respective houses. As we reached the restaurant, Mina went towards us, planting a kiss on Yuzuru's cheek while she gave me a hug, and waved goodbye before going inside the restaurant.

Me and Yuzuru were now walking side by side, awkwardly. The only thing you can hear is the bicycle chains rattling, crickets chirping, and our deep breaths. It was still around 7pm, but there weren't a lot of people outside, making it look like as if we were in a drama or something. I felt Yuzuru's gaze on me, sensing as if he wanted to say something.

"Anything you want to say?" I asked still looking forward.

He cleared his throat making him choke on his saliva. He coughed loudly making me pat his back to ease the coughing. After a few moments, it calmed down making him stand up properly. I chuckled and shook my head.

"Idiot..." I muttered.

"Hey, I almost died!" He whined.

I laughed at his behavior making me halt as I held onto my bicycle. His face looked like a tomato, blushing madly.

"Shut up!" He shouted and left me.

"Wait for me!" I said in between laughs and rode on my bicycle to catch up on him.

I was next to him as I was on my bike. He looked at me wide-eyed then smiled after.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing...Just the fact that I can't ride a bicycle." He said as I hopped out of the bicycle.

I nodded, remembering one of our dates when we went to the park in Japan. I guess he also remembered since the atmosphere changed quickly. We looked away from each other. After a few moments, He suddenly started a conversation.

"I miss you..." He muttered.

I stopped in my tracks looking at him wide-eyed. He stopped as well, shocked at the fact that he said that. I got angry and walked away from him.

"Natsuna, I didn't mean to-" He said catching up to me but I quickly turned around meeting his face.

I pointed at his chest, making him stop.

"Didn't mean to what? To love me? To miss me?" I asked, scoffing at him.

"Get your shit together..." I muttered before hopping on my bicycle, peddling as fast as I can to get away from him.

I heard him shout my name, but I didn't dare look back.

'He should be my past, my memory that I want to forget. Yet why? Why does he make me want him back? Want him to stay?'

My tears rolled down my cheek as it blurred my eye sight. I stopped peddling, so I won't get into any harm. I tried stopping my tears, but failed miserably as I sobbed. I walked slowly as my bicycle was next to me, as the chain wheel moved along with the wheels.

I reached the house, still sobbing as I placed the bicycle at the rack. I entered the home, sobbing while looking for my mom. I went inside the kitchen finding a post-it on the fridge.

'I won't be home until tomorrow. Had to do some errands :)'

I crumpled up the paper and threw it in the bin. I dragged my feet upstairs and changed my clothes. I went towards the balcony as I seated on one of the couches. I took in the fresh air, trying to calm my emotions. Kou came to me, meowing as he asked for my hand to pet him. I smiled at the cat and hugged him instead making the cat startled. I laughed at Kou, trying to push away from me, but I only hugged tighter which eventually made him tired. He sat on my lap as I released my tight hug and started licking his paw.

"Kou-chan! You're the only living being that I could trust. Ever since dad left, you were the only one I could rely to. It must've been tiring right? Sorry about that..." I said petting him as he fell into slumber.

I sighed deeply as I looked at the stars. Tears were coming out again but I wiped them off immediately. I took a deep breath and gave myself a scolding.

"You can do it! I believe in you! If no one else does, you, yourself can only believe in you. Don't you dare cry! Don't you dare cry..." I muttered as I couldn't handle the pain anymore.

You might've think I'm being over dramatic but let's just say...

It was a needed cry. After a while of holding it in, you need to let go once in a while. Kou hopped out of my lap, leaving me there, crying.

The next thing I knew, slumber took over my body, leaving me alone under the moonlight.
