It's my last day here in Sendai, Japan.

Am I gonna miss it? I'm not sure.

The last bell rung throughout the hallways that is filled with students. It was the last day of senior high. I was with my friends, putting on a fake smile as we walked out of the school gates. We passed by some guys, until they ran up to us just to start flirting with us.

'Get me out of here.'

I told my friends I was going to go home first. They were all sad but I know deep down that they wanted me dead.

I waved and went to my bicycle, unlocked the chains and rode it on the busy streets. As I was peddling, I grabbed my flip phone from my bag and dialed a number.

It's ringing.

"お父さん! (Oto-san - Father)" I screamed through the phone. It was my father.

"Natsuna-chan!" He replied cheerfully.

We talked for a bit until I said something, that I know, would hurt him.

"You know we should go ice skatin-" I cut him off.

"Dad, I'm leaving." I said in a hurry.

"W-what?"

"I'm going to Canada. Mom decided on it a few days back. I'm... I'm sorry for not telling you earlier" I said choking back my tears.

He took a deep breath. There was a moment of silence, I stopped peddling and waited for him to answer.

"When are you leaving?" He finally spoke.

"Later, around 3am. We packed our stuff."

"Okay, I'll pass by to send you off." He said, while shuffling sounds are heard, signaling that he's standing up.

"Dad, it's okay, mom might get mad." I said in a hurry.

"No, I'm meeting you and your mother. I need to see you guys, and besides I have to drop off something."

I sighed, and just agreed. We ended the call and I continued peddling to my house.

--------------------------------------------------------------

I reached my house and saw my mom talking to someone, As I reach closer it was the landlord.

'Guess we really are going.'

I bowed to both of them and placed my bike in front of the house. I grabbed my lock from my bag but it slipped out of my hand.

As I was about to grab it, the man grabbed it before me. He looked at me with the weirdest gaze, looking me up and down.

'Disgusting.'

I grabbed my lock from him, secured my bike and walked inside the house without saying anything. I went up to my room and looked through my window.

The window faced the front of the house which could let me see the front lawn. I saw my mom and the landlord flirting. I closed the curtains already knowing what was happening and tried to erase what I just witnessed.

I looked at my room to see it completely empty. My built-in closet looked like as if its abandoned. My bed nowhere to be found. My vanity mirror disassembled, and laying on the floor hopelessly. I grabbed my phone to check what time it was.

'6:48pm'

I changed my clothes with the clothes that I prepared going to the airport, It was a black hoodie and a pair of jeans. I walked out of my room with my uniform on my hand, not forgetting to grab my phone and wallet.

I walked down the stairs and checked if my mom was home.

She was nowhere to be seen.

I took a lighter that was laying on the table, wore my shoes and walked out of the house. I went to a nearby parking lot to see a couple of people hanging out. I saw two of my friends but I don't think they recognized me. They were hanging out with 5 other guys that were probably from the near by college in the area. I walked the other way and, thankfully, they didn't noticed me.

'Always wear black.'

I halted and checked if people were around. I gave a deep sigh of relief that there weren't any. I dropped my uniform on the ground and looked at it with a smile. I took my lighter out, crouched down and put the lighter close to the fabric.

"So long, Sendai..."

And burned the memories of this shitty place.

I stepped on the fire to put it out. I saw my uniform now in ashes. The color white now turned to yellowish brown, and the color blue is now almost the color black. I left the parking lot and never looked back at it.

I was hungry so I decided to stop by at the convenience store. I'm now looking at the snacks to bring at the airport. I grabbed an ice cream bar and some gummies. I checked my wallet to see if I have enough pocket money.

'Shit, It's not enough for chips. Eh, I'll just buy some at the airport'

I went to the cashier and waited in line. As I was waiting, the tv behind the cashier was on, it was the sports channel. They were talking about figure skaters in Japan. I didn't mind it until his name was said.

I looked up and saw him, my ex,

Yuzuru Hanyu.
