Logan yawned, eyes squinting at his bright screen, fingertips resting gently on the keyboard as he hesitated before continuing. For the first time in, apparently, many hours Logan glanced at the corner of his laptop screen where the time was displayed.

He was almost shocked to see that it was so late already, nearing three in the morning. What felt like a moment ago he'd told himself he would be in bed before eleven. Logan closed his eyes, just for a few seconds, trying not to feel guilty about how increasingly hopeless his sleeping schedule was beginning to become.

After a slight internal debate in which he considered pulling an all-nighter to continue working he saved his work and turned his laptop off. His boyfriends would be far too upset if they realized he didn't get at least a few hours of sleep, the hypocrites that they were, and Logan did not want them to be pouting at him.

Speaking of his boyfriends... Logan looked around his room, noting that it was indeed empty of anyone except for himself. Normally, since a few weeks back at least, the three of them would sleep in the same bed, which usually meant that Janus (who was the one out of the three of them with something that might resemble a healthy sleeping schedule) would be pulling Logan and Virgil away from whatever was keeping them from coming to bed.

Clearly that had not been the case tonight, as he was still alone in his room. Maybe they two of them had fallen asleep before coming to get him. Maybe they'd just forgotten to.

He felt a slight twinge of hurt at that thought, despite knowing better. It was quite illogical to feel that way seeing as forgetting such a thing was hardly meant as a way of hurting or leaving Logan out.

Shaking his head to rid himself of his silly and no doubt sleep deprivation induced thoughts he got up from his desk chair, snapping his fingers to change out of his normal button-up and jeans and into a set of NASA pajamas. He kept his glasses on for now, quietly crossing his room and opening the door, making his way over to Virgil's room.

He knocked quietly but received no response, further pointing towards his theory of the other two already being asleep, but as he pushed the door open he found the room to be empty, no two sides lying tangled together and fast asleep under the covers.

Logan frowned at that but quickly closed the door and continued down the corridor, placing his hand on Janus' door handle, opening the door to not quite see what he had expected.

Janus and Virgil were sitting on the floor (likely Virgil's initiative), bundled up in blankets and drinking something hot from mugs, watching the screen of a laptop that stood on the floor in front of them. Knowing them it was likely a video of an in depth analysis of some conspiracy theory.

"What are the two of you doing up? I thought you'd be asleep." Logan said, unintentionally startling them, Virgil dropping his cup and spilling it's contents on the floor. Janus just waved with his hand to make the mess disappear, barely reacting.

"Fuck, L, are you trying to kill me?" Virgil wheezed as Logan took a step into the room while closing the door behind himself.

"Apologies, I did not mean to startle you." Logan allowed Janus to grab his hand and pull him down to sit with them.

"You ruined my tea." Virgil said, frowning at him in a way that Logan had long since learnt he wasn't actually upset.

"Is it really wise to drink tea at such a late hour?" Logan asked. They both opened their mouths to argue but then closed them again. Virgil pulled his phone out of his pocket, checking what time it was.

"Oh." Virgil said. Logan let a soft sigh slip. Of course the two of them were just as good at keeping track of the time as Logan was.

"We both totally knew it was three in the morning already." Janus said, voice laced with obvious sarcasm. Something specifically for Logan, who struggled to understand if something was sarcastic or serious if it was more subtle. (Sometimes he wondered why he had fallen for the two most sarcastic sides.)

"What are you watching?" Logan asked, wondering what could be interesting enough to make them lose track of time like that. Janus breathed out a quiet chuckle.

"Right! Did you know the moon is flat?" Virgil said, seeming far more excited than he should be. Likely that excitement had less to do with Virgil actually believing the moon was flat and more to do with the fact that he got to annoy Logan by pretending he believed it.

"Forget that I asked, let's go to bed." He deadpanned, making Virgil grin into his blanket. Janus was the first one to stand, pulling Logan to his feet with him, three out of six arms wrapping around him. Another hand reached towards Virgil to run through his hair, their boyfriend leaning into the touch.

"Alright, let's sleep then." Virgil said, Janus' persuasion as always working wonders. Virgil closed the laptop, grabbing it and standing up, leaving it on Janus' desk before joining Logan and Janus where they'd sat down on the bed.

"I'm actually exhausted, this is weird." Virgil mumbled, looping an arm around Logan and pulling him with him as he laid down

"Could it be because you almost pulled an all-nighter yesterday?" Janus asked, looking unimpressed. Virgil hushed him, pulling the covers up over him and Logan and gesturing for Janus to lie down. Logan huffed at their bickering, giving Virgil a kiss before he had the time to talk back. Virgil let out a soft hum, kissing back and pulling at Logan to get him closer, making the kiss last longer than Logan had planned.

"It's three am." Janus reminded them, making them part. Logan felt a smile tug at his lips, reaching for Janus and giving him a kiss too.

"I've missed you." Logan said, feeling a bit silly since they'd never actually been far away at all, but he had still missed them.

"We're right here, always, you should take breaks more often, stop overworking yourself." Janus' lips brushed his temple.

"Yeah, come cuddle us once in a while. Stare at our pretty faces instead of your screen." Virgil placed his hand under his own chin and tilted his head up, smiling.

"We have the sa-" Logan began, then shaking his head a little, finding no point in arguing about that, "...I supposed that is a good idea. I just forget sometimes, time moves very quickly when I get caught up in my work."

"We'll just have to come and distract you then, right Janus?" Virgil said, turning to him for support. Janus grinned.

"That's right, we will be relentlessly pestering you, dragging you away from your work whenever we deem you to have worked for too long." Janus said, running his hand down Logan's arm and likely planning future distractions.

"We'll see." Logan said, sure that they would do very well keeping him from working with the promise of cuddles and quality time spent together. Janus pressed a kiss to Virgil's lips, then finally lying down and cuddling into Logan's side, pulling their shared weighted blanket up to his chin.

Logan let a yawn slip, plucking his glasses from his face, Virgil taking them from him to put them down on the nightstand. Virgil cuddled into Logan's other side, arm slung over his stomach and hand clasped together with one of Janus' hands. With a little wave Janus turned the lights off.

"Sleep well, my loves." Logan said, soft words that only really slipped when he was too tired to properly think. The other two murmured goodnight, then held a quiet, mumbling conversation that Logan didn't hear a word off since he fell asleep within a few seconds, comfortable in the arms of his boyfriends.
