Warnings: I don't think so

Summary: its raining

--

It was Roman who had proposed the idea of spending a weekend in the imagination. Thankfully he had created a cottage in the woods because if he had tried suggesting camping then both Logan and Virgil would've been saying no firmly.

But as things were now he'd succeeded in making them agree, convincing Virgil by bribing him with a jar of Nutella and the promise of wifi, and convincing Logan by making Patton ask him with his cute, happy smile and hopeful puppy dog eyes.

Logan hadn't stood a chance, never did when his boyfriend decided to convince him of something.

So here they were, in a small cottage just by the woods, with a lake perfect for swimming only about fifty meters away from the front door.

And the rain was pouring down outside.

Roman had only shrugged and said he didn't have full control over the weather and that they would have to spend the day inside. So far today there had almost been a fight over Monopoly and Roman and Virgil currently weren't speaking to each other. (Ah, the peace and quiet.)

Patton had made cookies, a lot of cookies, sometimes with the help of Virgil. Logan had spent the last couple of hours watching Sherlock and reading.

He was quite satisfied with the weather, actually. Even if he knew some outside activity was most likely beneficial for their health, it was very nice to simply have a day to rest, to not have to deal with all their normal responsibilities. Even Logan did need a break now and then, and he was not the outdoorsy type.

Logan glanced up from his book, seeing how Patton was stood by the window, his hands pressed to the glass and face near enough for his nose to be touching the window too. His breath left fog on the glass that Logan saw how Patton drew a small heart in when he noticed it.

"Lo, come look! It's raining so much." Patton said, eyes staring out at the falling rain and the slowly darkening skies. Logan thought that it was quite unnecessary for him to join Patton in watching the rain since he was very aware of the rain already. It was impossible not to be when it'd been pouring down all day.

And yet Logan found himself putting his book down and standing up, joining Patton by the window.

"Yes, I'm very glad that we're inside." He said, Patton humming as a response and most likely not listening that much. Then he whirled around towards Logan and grabbed one of his hands with both his.

"Logan," Patton said with the kind of voice that told Logan that he was going to say something that would make Logan wish that Patton was speaking to someone else, "let's go swimming!"

He had been right.

Logan most definitely did not want Patton to drag him out into the pouring rain to swim in the lake. (He ignored the fact that Patton would make him agree somehow.)

"Patton, no. It's pouring down outside, we'll get drenched before even reaching the lake, we might as well stand in the shower fully clothed, at least that would be warm." Logan said, already knowing that Patton had made his mind up and that his book would have to wait.

"That's part of the fun, Logan, come on now!" Patton said with a huge smile, already pulling a slightly reluctant Logan with him. Logan couldn't resist that smile anyway. He was pulled to the front door and then yanked his hand free from Patton's hold to begin looking for his shoes.

"Where the hell are you two going in this weather?" Virgil asked from the kitchen, who's doorway opened up to the hall. Logan glanced there, seeing Virgil sat on the kitchen table, jar of Nutella in one hand and a spoon in the other. Logan wished he could lecture him for eating Nutella straight out of the jar, but Virgil would surely only mention Crofters if Logan tried to talk to him about what he was eating.
