Warnings: i guess kind of hurt comfort, but this is also 'things are getting better' vibes

A knock on Logan's door disrupted his focus and he turned away from the book that he was halfway through. He called for the person outside to enter, and a moment later Roman stuck his head inside his room, then pushed the door up completely and took a step inside.
"Yes?" Logan urged him on, not sure if he found it a good sign that Roman hadn't already begun rambling about the reason for his visit. Usually it had to do with something he was working on that had turned out more difficult than he was expecting, or something he needed Logan's expertise on.
"We were just wondering if you had finished that schedule you were working on for the filming." Roman said. Logan didn't ask who 'we' were, because it was not any of his concern. What was his concern was that Roman was asking about his schedule at all. He wasn't known for following schedules perfectly.
"Yes, I have." Logan said.
He had finished it just earlier today, after several days of trying to fit together all the filming that would be needed and days off for self care and time to spend with friends and grocery shopping and therapy everything else that he had to think of. It was more difficult to puzzle everything together than the others would probably guess.
"Right, um, there's this movie that premiers and we kind of got really excited and Thomas may have already booked the tickets, and I think it might be the same date as something else, but I can't really remember. Anyway, thought you should know, sorry." Roman said, and actually did look remorseful, which was all the more reason to ignore the ache that had echoed through his chest at Roman's words.
"Ah, alright. I'll take a look at the schedule later, if you could just text me the time and date of the movie." Logan said, and Roman promised that of course he would, and then he was gone again, leaving Logan alone with the uncomfortable feeling inside of him.
He had worked so hard on the schedule, which Thomas had for once asked for as they all knew that a schedule was needed during the filming and editing of a video; it could be a very stressful time otherwise.
Logan braced his elbows on his desk, resting his head in his hands. This might mean he had to rearrange the schedule. But, getting out of the house and doing something fun was good for Thomas, if stressful for Virgil.
But he had worked so hard on the schedule, delighted that the others had actually wanted it, and instantly they had made plans without consulting it, which shouldn't hurt him as much as it did because he knew exactly how impulsive Roman and Thomas could be, the chances that they had done this to deliberately mess with him were about as close to zero as it could come, and yet...
He rubbed at his eyes and shook his head as if that would rid him on the slight ache in his chest, because if anything that was making him feel stupid.
But Logan caught himself at that and he sighed and paused to collect his thoughts, cringing at the prospect of validating his stupid feelings, but he had to talk some sense into himself now and then and practice if he was ever going to get better at dealing with his feelings.
Logan glanced back to assure himself that he was alone in his room, then ignored his own awkwardness.
"Yes," he began, "logically it is not a catastrophe that a change is happening to our schedule, it happens, and I can easily adjust it or work this out some way, especially with the help of the others."
Beginning with the justification for why this was stupid to feel upset about was the best way to go, in his opinion, because it was much easier than the next part.
"And, logically, it is perfectly natural to feel upset when something I worked hard on is disregarded, even if it is not done deliberately or to hurt me ...especially with my history of being ignored. These are two facts that can coexist." He said with another sigh, feeling rather ridiculous.
Baby steps, no matter how silly it felt or how annoying it was. Baby steps towards accepting and validating his feelings, until he had worked past the years of repression and didn't have to consciously convince himself that they weren't unreasonable and shameful.
As long as he was working on himself, trying his best, as long as they were all trying to become the best versions of themselves, it would be alright. And given the proof Logan had that things were improving it was only logical to assume that things would in fact turn out alright.
He could talk to the other sides about this, and involve them in the making of the schedule to make sure they knew how much work it could be, which would also ease his workload.
Yes, he thought that might be a good idea. Instead of solving this new problem alone they could all sit down together, something that he would never have considered a while back, but at this point he felt rather confident that nothing bad would come from trying to work together.
Logan fixed his eyes on the page of the book, searching for the sentence where he had left off. They would sit down together tomorrow and make the schedule work out, and now he was going to continue reading his book, because he had earned a break.
