-Thoughts-
/Parseltongue writing/

It was around noon when Maeve had awoken from her well needed nap, Loki was curled up beside her having moved from his heating rock to cuddle with his human. A soft knock at her door brought her from her sleepy haze, she could feel the familiar hum of Daphne's magic. She sat up, blinking slowly. Loki hissed in discontent when his human shuffled beside him.

"Maeve?" Daphne's soft voice called out, the knocking resumed. "It's about lunch time, would you care to walk with me?"

"Give me a moment, you may come in and wait." Maeve replied as she stood up, the door opened and Daphne stepped in. She was dressed in a casual knee length dress and her robes. The dark haired girl threw her her into a ponytail and smoothed out the creases in her peach colored sweater that was loosely tucked into a knee length jean skirt. "I feel very refreshed, a nap was exactly what I needed." She said with a relaxed smile.

Daphne giggled, nodding her head. "I'm sure it was, come now. Wouldn't want to keep your boys waiting." She smirked at the light blush on Maeve's pale face.

"Stop insuating things!" Maeve huffed before turning to her little serpent.

§Loki, I'll be heading to the Great Hall for lunch, will you be joining or ssstaying?§

"Come along, Daphne, Loki will be remaining here while we eat." Maeve informed as she walked out side by side with the blonde. "How was your nap? Peaceful, I hope."

Daphne hummed. "Yes. Well, peaceful as it could get with my roommates around."

"Oh? Do you not like your roommates?"

"It's more the fact that they are a loud group of girls. I'm surprised they were even placed in Slytherin with their lack of tact. They have none of our Slytherin traits, pretty sure the hat placed them here because of their family." Blue eyes gleaming in annoyance as she spoke of her dislike for the other girls rooming with her.

"Well, I suppose they should learn their place. Don't you think? Perhaps you should show them, hm?" Maeve said with a small smirk that Daphne returned.

The two girls walked down the stairs, the common room empty seeing as everyone made their way to the Great Hall for lunch. It warned her heart to know Daphne waited for her, despite not needing to. Perhaps there was room for them to grow closer as friends as she did with her boys.

"The boys should be there already, yeah?" Asked Maeve.

"Most likely, I did see Blaise and Theo following a marching Draco. I believe I heard him saying something about getting you a full plate ready." Daphne replied with a short giggle.

Maeve rolled her eyes, smiling fondly at the thought of Draco once again trying to mother her. "Draco has made it a habit to make sure my plate is full, says I'm much to small. Though, I'm pretty sure its genetics at this point."

Both girls giggled, several students who lingered in the halls had paused and stared. Two beauties corresponding was truly a sight, many could not look away. The doors to the Great Hall appeared and a second year boy from Ravenclaw scampered to open it.

Maeve quirked a brow and nodded. "Thank you." Daphne said as they both walked through.

Maeve was quick to find her boys, gracefully walking towards them with Daphne following beside her. "I see you were right." The short girl said as she noticed a plate of food beside Draco where she always sat.
