Maeve listened as Professor Binns droned on about the goblin war, his voice a boring monotonous sound. Despite this, none of her snakes so much as closed their eyes and instead were diligently taking notes even if none of this would truly be of importance. She was glad they were taking her warning very seriously. The threat of punishing her in front of the entire Slytherin students must have caused Pansy to heed her words closely as she was also writing as much as possible, writing things that meant nothing to them.

Class wouldn't last much longer, there was only a few minutes left before it would be time to end. Draco sat beside her writing a letter to his father, Maeve had instructed him to find out what had been going on in the Ministry halls and if it was possible to get the Minister in her back pocket. Blaise had insisted it would be easy, the Minister liked knowing people with money and more than enough sway to take over magical Britain. Maeve was indeed quite lucky to be both of those things.

As Binns droned on some more, Maeve began putting her things away with everyone else following her lead. Pansy was just as eager to obey than anyone else, Maeve supposes the other girl thought this would get her out of trouble. While the young dark haired witch loved obedience, she just couldn;t overlook such a nasty personality. Pansy Parkinson had to be taught that her actions had consequences. What kind of leader would she be if she let everyone think they could get away with such an attitude?

The ghost didn't appear to know class was over and Maeve wasn't in the mood to wait for him to notice. She stood up, drawing everyone's attention to her including the Binns.

"Is something the problem, Miss..."

Maeve scoffed, this damn ghost really couldn't be bothered to know anything other than goblins. Dumbledore was doing such a horrid job in finding good teachers, what was the point of having a ghost when all he taught was the same subject? Better yet, what was the point of having History of Magic as a class when they never learn anything new? "My name is Maeve Potter and class is over, may we leave?"

That seemed to jolt the ghost, who looked at a blank space on the wall across the room. "Ah, yes, class is over. Hm, you may all leave." Then he turned and vanished through the wall.

"Draco, please add that I want your father here in the letter. I'd like him to be present when I speak to Dumbledore about Professor Binns. I don't think I can take much more of this nonsense." When the pale blonde nodded at her word, Maeve turned to the rest of her snakes. "Everyone else, be sure to all be in the common room. That means first to seventh years should be accounted for, I need to show you all a lesson in obedience."

She walked out the door followed by Draco, Blaise, Theo, and Daphne. The rest of the Slytherins trailed behind, showing respect in the way they allowed the leaders to leave first. "Blaise, Theo, when we get inside I'd like for you both to make sure everyone is there. Wouldn't want anyone to miss the show lest they want to be a part of it in the next round."

"Of course, milady." Blaise smiled sharply, he found it amusing when others feared their Dark Lady.

Theo also nodded, he thought she looked quite pretty when she was fierce.

"Good, let's go."

Maeve slipped off her robe and set her bag down onto the chair near the fireplace, she loosened her tie and tightened her ponytail. Slipping her wand from its holster on her arm, she handed it to Draco who gently placed it near her bag. She walked to the center of the room and looked around at everyone who crowded into the seats, some even sitting on the floor.
