Chapter 25:

(3rd Person POV)

"So...Violet, what's your most memorable moment?"

Violet was staring into space.

"Violet?" He continuously called her name.

He tapped her knee and she shook of her daze. "Sorry, I dozed off. What the hell were you asking me?" She raised an eyebrow.

Dr. Patrick clenched his jaw. "What have I said about you speaking to me like that?"

"It's disrespectful and blah blah, wrong, blah blahbity blah. Geez, fuck! This is so frustrating." She pulled at her hair.

"What is?"

"Being here...especially with you."

"Well, here's a heads up. The more progress you show, the faster you'll never get to see me again." He stared at her.

Her eyes met his. A smirk came upon her lips.

"How about...we make a deal?"

"What do you mean?" He raised an eyebrow.

She moved closer to him. She touched his legs and got on her knees. He gripped her arm and stood her up, and pushed her back on the couch roughly. He returned to his chair that was adjacent to her, and wrote things in his notes.

Violet rolled her eyes. "Is it because I'm a druggie...or maybe because I drink? Or maybe because I'm a minor...nah, that hasn't stopped any of the other guys." She gave him her best smile, but he was too busy still writing in his notes.

He looked at her and gave her a straight face. "So, where were we?"

"Me coming on to you trying to make a deal-"

"I believe it was me asking you what your most memorable moment was."

She narrowed her eyes at him. "I don't have one particular memorable moment. I mean there's three, me drinking and smoking for the first time, oh and trying ecstasy."

He nodded his head slowly. "That's really your most memorable moment?"
