Chapter 10

(Violet’s POV)

I got a text from Skylar notifying me that he’s coming over my house because we need to talk. I was curious to know what he wanted to talk about. Everything’s been going…that’s basically it. Everything’s been going.

 

Tony was at the Police Station for his internship with…Lacy. I don’t know much about her because she hadn’t really given me a good first impression.

A sudden knock on my door occurred. I walked to the front door to answer since Mila was with Brennan and Mom and Dad were at work.

I opened the door.

“Hey Mouth Guts.” He stepped inside my house.

“Shut up.” A bit immature, I know. I closed the door behind him and we walked to the living room. “So…what do you wanna talk about?”

“…Violet…Sammy and I are getting close.” His eyes were pierced into mine. “And, I know you and Tony are together again and still going strong, but I think we should tell them.”

“Tell them…about?” I gave him a perplexed facial expression.

“Us sleeping together.” He grabbed my hand and held it gently.

I looked at our intertwined hands and flinched my hand out of his hold.

“Sky, I don’t think we should tell them. I mean it doesn’t concern them. It was before them. Why should they know?”

“Because…it’s the right thing to do.”

“Look Skylar, I know you’re a good person and all but do me a favor and promise me you won’t tell them.”

He gave me a look of disapproval and nodded his head.

“Thanks.” I smiled standing up.

“But, you have to promise me one thing too.” He stood up.

“What?”

“That we will tell them together, eventually, when you’re ready.”

“Yeah sure, whatever.” I messed up his hair.

“You know the longer you wait to tell someone something especially on how big it is, the worse the outcome will be.” He grabbed my hand out of his hair and held it in his hands.”

“Yeah, well I’m prepared for the worst…always.”

“I knew I always liked you because you’re not all mouth…you’ve got guts.”

“Shut up.” I laughed.
