Chapter 14

Chapter 14:

(Violet’s POV)

The apartment was back to its’ normal neatness…thank God. Sammy was paying the delivery guy while Andrea and Donna spoke to each other, and I just sat in silence. Jo hadn’t arrived yet. I was wondering where she’d been all this time.

“Help? Guys.” Sammy called for us.

Donna stood still while Andrea got up, but was forced to sit down my Donna who was shaking her head. My blank expression converted into an unpleasant frown that came with a scoff.

“Really?” I asked them. “You’re not going to help the girl you call your ‘best friend’, who also happens to be with children?” I asked.

“If you want to volunteer yourself then we don’t have to.” Donna smirked.

I scoffed before ignoring her little response and helping Sammy with the pizza.

“Thanks.” She smiled.

I put the boxes of pizza on the dining table. Sammy handed me a plate.

“So…i-is Mia coming?” I asked while taking two slices of pizza and putting it on my plate.

“Um no. She has some stuff to take care of.” She put a slice of pizza on her plate.

2 famished looking girls arrived at the dining table.

“What. The. Hell? Sammy…pizza? What happened to steak or grilled caesar salads…or caviar?” Andrea asked.

“At a sleepover?” I ask.

“Duh…We wouldn’t expect anything less. This is Samantha Field’s sleepover.” Donna said while eyeing her pizza. Andrea nodded her head, agreeing with Donna.

These girls were the definition of stuck up.

“Well, I love pizza Sammy so I think it was a great idea for you to order some.”

“Thank you.” Sammy grabbed my hand and smiled.

A few minutes later, there was a knock on Sammy and Skylar’s room door.

“Hey guys.” Jo entered the room.

I got up off of the floor and jumped on Jo, hugging her tightly. She screamed from the amount of strength I was using to hug her. Eventually, I let go and led her to our little mini circle. She put her bags down and sat with us.

“Sorry I’m late Sammy I-“

“Spare us the details.” I interrupted. “We were waiting for your arrival.”
