Chapter 24

Chapter 24:

(3rd Person POV)

"Where is she?" Skylar's Boss asked.

"Um...I don't know. I'm not sure."

"Call her now! She's missed 4 days already...almost a week. I don't care if she doesn't wanna come to school but she needs to come to work."

Skylar nodded his head. He took his phone out of his pocket and tried calling Violet for the 100th time. It rang twice and cut to voicemail. He knew she declined the call purposely, due to the fight they were in, including the other. But, no one would've found out, or at least not yet, if it weren't for him. But, all he wanted was to help her. He left another voicemail and returned to his shift.

Violet looked at the voicemail Skylar left and listened to it.

"MG..." A small smile appeared on her lips. "This is the 100th voicemail I've left you this week. I'm not going to apologize so don't expect one. I want you back to your normal self, the personality that I love and miss, just as much as the others. You're my Mouth Guts, remember? Call me or text me or whatever way you wanna contact me through. I just...need you to be ok. Bye."

A small tear fell from Violet's eye, which she wiped quickly.

"Well, he sure is a downer." Chuck rubbed his eyes, and got off the king sized bed they were on.

"Yeah, I know he is. But-"

"But nothing. You want to go out and get some breakfast?" He scratched his elbow.

"It's lunch time." She rolled her eyes.

"Oh. Well, I am hungry."

"We can eat whatever you have here." Violet gave him a small smile.

"Oh yeah! I got something real good a couple of days ago. I've been eating everyday this week. I'm really craving it right now. It really hits the spot. I'm not sure there's enough for you though."

"It's fine, I'll find something else. Go and get some of it."

"I'm glad you gave me permission." He smirked.
